We purchased this Maytag model 2 months ago after I did more research, comparison and reading the multitude of rating review comments.than I have ever done before just to purchase an appliance. I am very glad I did because I ended up choosing this make and model and 2 months later I know I made the right choice. This is an excellent fridge and has met and exceeded all my expectations. It runs quiet, fridge and freezer temperature settings are dead on (tested with accurate fridge thermometer, design is excellent with great space utilization. I would recommend this fridge as an excellent buy.

Of all the fridges Imhave owned this is the worst ever and if I could return it I would. The overall layout is awful. There is only one place that will hold milk cartons or tall bottles and that is beside the ice maker or I can put it in the door which is very inconvenient. No matter how I try to reconfigure it still doesn’t work The ice maker keeps getting clogged and has stopped working at times. We had the repair man here because it keeps stopping and he was useless and told us he couldn’t do anything because it was working again when he was here. So unless it stops working completely I’m out of luck.

Because it freezes everything you have to keep the fridge above the recommended temperature so any meat/fish you have goes bad. It’s a great fridge if you like going to the grocery store and throwing half of what you bought straight into the trash. I can’t believe they would sell such a piece of garbage. Will never buy anything Maytag ever again.

We don’t have the ice maker setup yet so can’t comment. I put things in the fridge so you could get the idea of the size. Only down side, just like the cheaper freezers, you can’t use the back part of your shelves because food gets frozen. Make sure you change the fridge temp right away to a few degrees warmer because I ended up leaving it at the factory default and had to throw all my fresh food out because it froze. Other than that I LOVE this fridge. Hopefully the pictures are clear. I could not see any freezer pics or pic of fridge with food in on the maytag site.

It does exactly what a refrigerator should do, it keeps things cold in the fridge and frozen in the freezer part. It is easy to clean and maintain, just regularly clean it and change the filter! Its many features are the reason I chose this fridge - butter keeper, water and ice dispenser in the door, deli drawer, deep door bins, and the freezer side is well designed for maximum storage. I’m very pleased with my purchase. Maytag makes a good product!
