Rated 4 out of 5 by from Maytag Gemini Electric Stove Prior to purchasing this stove we had owned a Gemini double oven stove for 14 years. When the time came to replace it, we went looking for the same features in the same model. The upper oven in the new stove is larger and although it’s still early to compare the performance and function of the convection style baking, early reviews are positive. Baking is even and perhaps faster. The glass cooktop is difficult to keep clean, but so was the old one. The stove should come with a razor scraper and cooktop cleaning instructions. Overall we aren’t disappointed with the new version of our trustworthy old friend.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not what I expected I have used this range for about a month now. It was not my first choice, but the only one that matched the refrigerator I was buying. The burners are VERY SLOW to heat and do not hold a stable temperature. The ovens are also very slow to heat - though they do cook nicely. The stove top is incredibly difficult to clean. I worry about scratching or damaging it each time I use it. There is only one timer, not one for each oven. I also purchased a refrigerator and dishwasher and am very pleased with both of them. They are high quality appliances. The range does not seem have the same high quality feel.

We've only had the stove a few weeks but are very happy so far. 2 ovens was great for Thanksgiving day. The black glass top takes work to keep clean, but as long as you keep up with it, no problem. We have a light right above it and the cleaner leaves a little haze, so you need a little extra buffing to keep it shiney. Because of the bottom oven being low there is not much of a recess on the back for the plug, so if your recepticle is mounted to the outside of the wall, the stove won't fit flush to the wall. I knew this ahead of time but I plan on putting a flush mount wall recepticle in, in the near future. The way it is now isn't bad, but it's out from the wall about 3".

The bridge elements are amazing, and the double ovens are just what we needed. I can finally have both ovens on at the same time at different temperatures without affecting scorching the food in the top one, which happened with another brand we owned before this one. It has answered all our cooking needs and then some. The knob dials rather than push buttons for the burners is wonderful. On top of all that, there is the ease of cleaning with self-cleaning ovens. We absolutely LOVE it!

If someone is in the market for an electric range, which one may actually cook wonderful dishes and baked goods with, this is the best one I have found in this price range (less than $5,000.00). Two small suggestions; 1: Timer only beeps once when done...four beeps would be much better. 2: The oven clock no longer shows when you use the timer. This is second MayTag double oven for us, the first one we had for about 12 years. It still looked and functioned like new. We purchased the new one only because we up-dated our kitchen to stainless steel.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Mostly happy with my purchase I'm mostly happy with my new stove but there are a couple things that I don't like about it. The ceramic top is hard to keep clean, much harder than my previous stoves top. It streaks really easily and any spill or boil over leave hard to remove marks. The top oven gets really really hot so either cook for less time or reduce temperature by few degrees depending on your recipe. The bottom door also hits the ground when you open it so be careful as to not damage your floor with the handle. I do love the fact that I can cook 2 diffrent things at 2 different temperatures which is the main reason I bought the stove, the above mentioned complaints are just things I find a bit frustrating but can live with.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I ordered this new range in October 2021.My old Samsung... I ordered this new range in October 2021.My old Samsung would have never made it through our family holidays! It was delivered early November which is a huge plus considering the supply chain issues. The bottom oven did not work. I did not know it did not work until thinking I was cooking Thanksgiving dinner but it was ruined due to the new appliance not heating/cooking even though it appeared to be heating per the controls. Waited a month for a repair man to come out to fix the problem which was a latch that was broke inside the door. I would buy it again BUT i would have the installers stand there while I made sure everything worked correctly!

Burners heat up much faster then my old oven did. Very good looking oven and seems to be built well. The only thing I wish it had is my old oven showed which exact burner was still hot after being turned off. This one just shows what side the burner is that is still warm. Excited to see how well it works for Thanksgiving. Will make it very nice to be able to cook 2 things at different temperatures at one time. I have been very happy with previous Maytag appliances I have purchased in the past and sure this will be no different.

Is the depth actually 28.5 inches, my current stove is 26 inches. If so, this stove would protrude 2.5inches?

If I want to use the timer on the stove .. how do I put the timer on for 40 minutes ... it seems i have to press the "+" button 40 times to advance the timer to go off in 40 minutes. Is there an easier way to do this?

Hi Catrina, please refer to the use and care guide on page 13 that is located on the Use and Care guide available on the Home Depot Website on how to set the timer: Set a Timed Cook: 1. Press and the keypad for any cooking function except Self-Clean or Keep Warm. 2. Press and/or hold the Time/Temp “+” or “-” keypad to set the desired temperature. Press and hold to scroll quickly. The temperature will not scroll past the minimum or maximum allowable temperature. 3. Press COOK TIME. 4. Press the Time/Temp “+” or “-” keypad to enter the length of time to cook. 5. Press START. Does anyone wish there were larger burners? I am interested in purchasing this product however I am concerned about only having one large burner

There are four burners on the stovetop that you can control separately, the two left burners can be combined for use as “one” larger burner (total size almost 1/3 of the stovetop). Also there is a warming area in the top middle. Hope that helps.
