Rated 1 out of 5 by from 10 year Warranty is awful (Not HD issue) Bought this 2.5 years ago. A bunch of plastic pieces for the upper rack deteriorated (The water wasn't abnormally hot). I called Maytag and inquired about the warranty of these pieces. They said if it was 2 years, I could have claimed but this isn't covered by their 10 year warranty. Its a bit frustrating that their 10 year warranty advertised isn't very encompassing. Also, im very disappointed with the timing and cost of replacement. Pieces were not built to last much longer than 2 years and it will cost me 1/4 of the original dishwasher price for replacement of these little plastic pieces. They're not dependable, they don't stand by their guarantee. Really disappointed with Maytag and want to make sure people are aware that despite their marketing, they're not dependable and wont support their products when you run into issues.

We asked around and heard that this model is built poorly from repair people and other customers. They also bury 1-star reviews complaining about the same issue. Do your research before buying this machine. I would definitely recommend purchasing something else.

It has an adjustable top shelf which is very convenient for my use. I like that the controls are hidden at the top. It has a smudge proof finish therefore fingerprints or water stains will not show. That’s awesome!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Maytag garbage product(s) This is a complaint about Maytag dishwashers specifically the MDB795SHZ0 model and any model made with PLASTIC PARTS BUILT TO DISENTIGRATE over time (3yrs). Complete garbage product made to break and require repairs. And don't blame hard water, we live in the city its not an issue, previous dishwasher lasted 15yrs. I will never buy Maytag products again and you should be ashamed of the profit-driven trash you put into the marketplace and our landfills. SHAME ON YOU!!!
