Rated 1 out of 5 by from Junk Pulled up some old posts and replaced them with these. The old ones were in the ground for over 10 years. After 2 months the new ones look worse.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from This is NOT Pressure Treated Wood I think a lot of people think this is pressure treated - it is not. If it were it would be called pressure treated wood. It is wood that has simply been treated/coated. I would buy actual pressure treated wood and not this one because it will be more prone to cracks/twisting etc.

    Rated 1 out of 5 by from 3 1/2'' X 3 1/2'' X 8' Treated Wood I order some 4 x 4 x 8' Treated Wood ten days ago, and I founded that the size is not 4 inch X4 inch, it is only 3 1/2 inch X 3 1/2 inch. Did I got the wrong item?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cheap imitation! I have purchased thousands of dollars on this so-called pressure treated wood and it it the worst product no matter what dimension you order. This is how it works; supplier want to raise prices and HD says no. So supplier does what they need to to lower cost. In this case, they undersize lumber and only keep wood in treatment vats for enough time that the Copper naphtalates Only penetrate the first millimetre of wood. Essentially, you are using regular pine that will last maybe a year longer than untreated pine. If you look at my photo, you will see the complete lack of penetration on the 4X4. A real piece of PT lumber will only have a small white core that is untreated. Such a sham. I don’t mind if they raise their prices to be a fair market price for a good quality item. A deck made with this junk will need to be rebuilt faster than you could imagine. How much does that cost!!!
