Rated 2 out of 5 by from I must have gotten a dud The pump does not work. The humidity reading is way off and varies widely. From 48 to 39 in a matter of minutes. Does not match the humidity sensor next to it nor my house thermostat humidity reading. Does not turn off at 40, which is what I have it set to but it does randomly turn off at 44 or 48. Really wanted to like this one and may exchange it and try another but this one is junk.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a beast Purchased about a month ago. This machine will suck your humidty problems away. Haven't use the pump yet (manually dumping the water) but wow. Reasonably quiet, appears quality built but a little heavy. Love up to this point!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Unattened Dehumidfier Have been running this unit for over a month with no problems. Have been out of town about half the time and the unit has run with no problems. Love the pump feature that empties the unit by itself. The app lets us monitor the unit even when we are out of town. It also gives a reminder to clean the filters. The filters are the only problem that I've had with the unit. I had to pry the filter handles loose to be able to remove the filters. Once they release the filters slide out easily.

I’ve had the dehumidifier for about a month now, it works great but I have been unable to connect it via WiFi to take full advantage of its features. Why aren't they publishing the amp draw and watt use and all that power data? - seems like the manufacturer has something to hide - I couldn't even find on their website. - Anyone have the real world data to share?

The answer from Midea to this question does not make sense. The unit removes 50 pts/day. This converts to 23.7 liters/day or 0.985 liters/hour. If the unit draws 850 watts it removes 1.16 liters/kWh. This doesn't match the rating. What gives?

I don't see why not. There is an air intake on the side that you would want to make sure stayed clear. The unit is super solid.

How long is the pump hose that comes with the unit?
Asked by: LizC
About three feet.  I drilled a hole through exterior-face wall and then connected a downward sloping 1/2” PVC pipe to the hose.  A small clamp ensures a tight connection.  The manual also says it can pump upwards for a short distance.  If you go this route (I.e. through a window), you can buy extra lengths of the same diameter hose at your hardware or big box store.
