Asymmetrical carbide teeth break up material more effectively resulting in up to 20% faster drilling speeds. Centering bits allow for easy alignment of the hole and precise spot drilling. The versatile two-piece design allows users to drill with several different core bit sizes using one adapter. The spiral core body design minimizes friction in the hole and aids in dust removal during the application. Core bits cut with the outer edge only, therefore the operator must remove the inner core continue drilling for holes deeper than 2-inch.

The Milwaukee 8 Diamond ultra-wet Core Bits are engineered with thin kerf segments to provide users with the fastest drilling in reinforced concrete applications. These diamond ultra-wet core bits deliver up to 20% longer run-time versus their previous generation of wet core bits. The diamond wet core bits are specifically designed for use with the MX FUEL Core Drill and corded core drills for maximum versatility. The 8 -inch dry core bit has a maximum RPM of 330 with 3 mm thin kerf for faster holes. The dry core bits for brick and concrete block feature a 16 drilling depth and 11 thread connection, to connect to 1 to 7 thread tools use the Milwaukee 48-17-6006 bit adapter.

Milwaukees one piece carbide tipped core bits are ideal for drilling large holes in brick, block, and concrete. The asymmetric tooth pitch with alternating tooth geometries for up to 20% faster drilling speeds. The one piece design maximizes energy transfer and the thick wall core body is durable in large hammers. The fluted core exterior minimizes friction loss and removes debris faster. Core bit cut with the outer cutting edge only. The inside core must be removed to allow for deeper hole drilling applications beyond 3-inch. Centering bit 48-20-5495 (included) is recommended for exact spot drilling and to avoid bit wandering during use. The drift key 48-20-5497 (not included) allows for easy removal of the centering bit. The one piece core bits are available in SDS-Max or Spline shanks, ranging from 1-1/2-inch to 6-inch diameters and overall lengths of 11-3/8-inch or 22-inch, with a drilling depth of 3-inch.
