Overview

Model # 2540-20 Store SKU # 1001585555

The Milwaukee M12 23 Gauge Pin Nailer is the most compact cordless pin nailer, combining precision and power to deliver the performance that professional carpenters and remodelers demand, without the hassle of a compressor hose or gas cartridge. It provides unmatched productivity and accessibility in tight spaces and confined corners with a lightweight, ergonomic design. The nitrogen air spring mechanism allows the nailer to consistently sink pin nails at proper depth into hard or softwoods while leaving small, clean nail holes. The double-action trigger and non-marring precision point tip allow for sequential driving and accurate pin placement into delicate trim pieces. The dry-fire lockout feature prevents misfires and workpiece damage. The M12 Pin Nailer drives 23-Gauge headless pin nails ranging in length from 1/2 to 1-3/8 and features all-day run time with up to 750 pin nails per charge when paired with an M12 REDLITHIUM CP1.5 battery pack.

I have been using the ryobi 23 gauge gun which I love, but this new one by Milwaukee is smaller, quieter , and seems to work as good as the 18 gauge Milwaukee nail gun. SO great to not have hoses dragging around the job with me know.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Another Lemon? Very disappointed with this. Nails do not sink flush 50 percent of the time, for top dollar I expect better- my air powered bostitch is 5 years old and still sinks every time. Second Red Tool ive had to return this month. Shame, im about ready to switch to blue from now on. Consistency with red is fading.

Will it work for putting baseboards

This will work for base cap, or 1/4 round/shoe. I always try to use a 16ga for attaching baseboards and casing.
