Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very convenient and easy to store!! I bought this compact inflator because we have a fleet of cars and often have tire pressure issues. We would always take cars to the local gas station to fill up the cars, but this compact inflator was a game changer for us in terms of saving time which equals saving money. It typically take about 1 1/2 minutes to go from 20 PSI to 35 PSI on an average sedan, and about 3 minutes on a truck. I run the inflator with a 4.0 battery and have never run into a situation where the battery did not have enough juice to finish the job. The inflator comes with different nozzles that store on the back so you can inflate balls or bikes or tires. Great product!!

I imagine one of my 4.0ah batteries would fill a few tires entirely. Love the compactness and the brass Chuck (instead of plastic). The only reason I gave it 4/5 stars? MILWAUKEE... PLEASE MAKE A SIMPLE CIGARETTE LIGHTER 12V PLUG ADAPTER, WITH A 14' CORD, SO YOU CAN POWER THIS FROM YOUR CAR!!!! That would make this inflator so much more versatile, especially if the tool's battery dies. I'm in the process of fabricating a cord like this for myself, out of a cheap knock-off battery housing, to keep in the glove box.

I liked the features - light weight, set tire pressure wanted, portability, multiple use purposes - but the problem I had was filling my vehicle tires. The air hose needs to be screwed on to the valve stem and, as it is attached, air leaks out of the tire. With the gauge set for pressure, the tire fills easily to desired pressure - but, when disconnecting, air again escapes until removed from valve stew. I emailed Milwaukee for any suggestions, but received no response. The item was returned and another brand was purchased with a connection similar to bicycle tire pumps.

It is by far the best one I own. Most plug into the cigarette lighter in the car. Those units don’t work nearly as well as the Milwaukee! Also, the other units take a lot longer to get a tire up to recommended tire inflation. I love the fact that the Milwaukee has its own battery and will “top off” several tires before it needs a charge. This is not as good as a garage air compressor. But will suffice in most instances where you need addition air without handling a power cord or driving a car to the unit. So, it will handle most small jobs with ease!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from It's okay I purchased this product specifically with the hopes that I could use it to air up my tires after off roading, but alas Milwaukee has finally let me down. It failed to inflate a 33x12.5R15 tire. Using the bigger then supplied 4 amp hour battery and set to 35psi it took 2 minutes 52 seconds to inflat from 0 psi to 15 psi, then with out stopping the unit it only made it 32.5 psi be for the battery died and it shuts off @ 10 minutes and 43 seconds. Even if it had managed to reach 35 psi that would be over 40 minutes to fill 4 LT tires, not the 16 minutes as advertised. It will work ok in a pinch but I'm gonna need a a lot more batteries.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This inflator is disappointing I’ve been through three of these inflator’s even though they’re rated at 120 pounds maximum if there is over 90 pounds in a tire it will not work. Also after about 10 minutes of inflating a tire at 32 pounds the unit overheats and shuts off. I returned it got another one same problem and then finally went with the third one. Same issue I have a trailer tire that’s rated at 110 pounds and it shuts off at 90. I love Milwaukee tools and enjoy everyone that I have but this one here has the quality of a children’s toy. Hopefully Milwaukee will come out with an 18 V that’s a little bit more powerful that could be used for more than just filling up basketballs and bike tires.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great portable cordless inflator! Quickly inflates tires. Compact at approximately 6” X 6” X 8” and weighs approximately 3 lbs. without a battery. The display is well lit allowing you to easily see tire pressure and set pressure even in low light environments. The hose and assorted valves and adaptors are conveniently stored on the back of the inflator. Two things that most impressed me were: How stable the inflator was while running. It didn’t dance all over the ground while running. See video. Also how many times I could inflate a truck tire even using the smaller M12 2.0 battery. During my evaluation I repeatedly (at least 5 times) inflated my tire by 10 to 15 lbs. without running the battery to empty I only wish Milwaukee had included a cigarette adapter and cord so in an emergency I could run this off my truck battery.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Inflator is the best! This little cordless inflator is one of the handiest tools Milwaukee has come out with! Super small and light, it quickly inflates tires on bikes, cars and yard equipment. This tool inflated the tires on my lawn tractor quickly, taking only 10 or 15 seconds each. It's super convenient as it automatically shuts off at awhatever preset pressure you choose. Just screw the hose on to the Schrader valve, set your target pressure and hit the Start button. Then you can walk away and do something else. Duty cycle is 50% with a maximum on time of 10 minutes before you need to let it cool. It pumped up my bike tires to 100 PSI with no problem. Super handy!

How low can you set it? If I wanted to inflate a soccer ball to 9 psi can this unit do that?

No battery included. Must purchase separately. If vehicle tires need more than 10 psi added to them - it will fill 3 to 4 tires on one charge. If less air is needed - it will fill more. This is a great device.

That's a design flaw. You do wonder if they ever field tested the thing. It's even worse with Presta valves (on some bike tires). A little air lost on a car tire is no big deal, but it can be a big difference on a small-volume bike tire. My suggestion is to find a Schrader "quick release" adapter https://www.jbtools.com/slime-20332-inflator-hose-adapter/

Yes. It works great for doing a pressure test on a gas line. In fact, that's what I bought it for. I always do a 30 pound pressure test on a 60 pound gauge with a shrader port. It takes about 30 seconds.

Small ones yes. Large would be slow. If you know the target pressure you can do other things and come back to a full toy. Stay around the first time to make sure you have not set the turn off (target) pressure too high. It works great !
