Rated 5 out of 5 by from No more gas for me Bought this so I don’t have to fight with a pull cord anymore. When I want/need to cut something real quick I want to just grab, go and pull a trigger. I have two gas chainsaws, then bought an electric that never cut well again after the first use. Now with this Fuel saw I am in chainsaw heaven. I do not cut trees for a living and don’t expect it to compete with the Big boys either.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Get the job done We recently experienced a storm that took down many trees in the area. Using M18 Fuel Chainsaw, I was able to make short work of the clean up. The 16" bar made it easy to cut through most of the debris. It is great not having to worry about fuel mixes and all the headaches that come with old fuel lines. I am glad I added this incredibly useful tool to my M18 collection!

Now if only Milwaukee would let us owners buy the red carry bag that is now only available to Australian Milwaukee customers. Let's let them know we would like to have it for portability too.

Can I use a 3.0ah M18 Fuel battery from my cordless drill in the chainsaw? I see that it says it uses a 12.0ah, but wondering if the 3.0ah will do.

Hi Steph! Our M18 FUEL 16 in. 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Battery Brushless Cordless Chainsaw (2727-20) weighs 13.9lbs. You can use any M18 battery with any M18 product and each M18 battery has a different weight, but the larger the battery the heavier it typically is. For reference, our M18™ REDLITHIUM HIGH OUTPUT™ XC8.0 Battery weighs 2.33lbs.

what replacement chain would this use

It's a 56 link Oregon 90 chain, p/n 90PX056G. You can also buy it in a retail blister pack under its retail name AdvanceCut R56. DO NOT BUY the AdvanceCut S56, that is a different gauge and will not work with the bar. You need the R56.
