Nut-Busting torque, the M18 FUEL Mid-Torque Impact Wrench is more powerful while also being up to 4 in. shorter and up to 2 lbs. lighter than many competitive Impact Wrenches. The POWERSTATE Brushless Motor delivers up to 0-2,400 RPM resulting in increased productivity. REDLINK PLUS Intelligence is the most advanced electronic system on the market, preventing damage to the tool and battery caused by overloading or overheating. For use with REDLITHIUM Compact Batteries or Extended Capacity Batteries (sold separately), the M18 FUEL Mid-Torque delivers more work per charge and more work over the life of the pack than competitive batteries on the market. The 3-Mode DRIVE CONTROL provides greater control over output speed and power for greater versatility. This tool includes a 1/2 in. Pin Detent anvil which provides superior socket retention.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Mostly good The tool seems to have power and works well except for the following two issues. The forward/reverse button is constantly being changed while trying to hold and use the tool. More annoying is the detent for holding the socket/extension onto the tool. It is improperly designed, it is very difficult to get a socket onto the tool and requires the use of a small screwdriver or ice pick to retract the detent to release the socket, extremely bad design. The traditional ball shape would work better. Overall, if you can handle the above two deficiencies, great.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from terrible quality i am very trust Milwaukee tools, however this product is terrible, detent pin is so tight I can't get the socket off, i need to spend a lot time to remove socket every time, then i can't return this due to pass 3 month after i brought from homedepot, my question is Milwaukee is the best tools in the world, why they can't fix this issue.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Difficulty putting sockets on and off The tool itself looks like a good unit. Unfortunately it is almost impossible to get a socket on and off. The issue is the detent pin won’t retract. The only way to put a socket on or off is to use a pin or screw driver to depress the detent pin. I sent the first unit back thinking it was defective and got a replacement that had exactly the same issue. Not very satisfactory.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from M18 Fuel Mid-Torque dead on 1st use. Fantastic service at Home Depot. Don't buy your Milwaukee anywhere else and keep your bill and box for 90 days. Otherwise it goes in for service. My brand new Mid-Torque went in for service after a very very light use. It's basically a brand new tool that stopped working. I am losing my faith in red. I have a few dozen red tools and this is the second one dead on arrival.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from no good I bought this tool about year and half ago.i used it few times.it was working fine.it spined free few times.i thought it was normal.but now it is not engaging at all unless i tap on it.waste of big money.i thought milwaukee suppose to last for long long time .but not in my case.so carefull before you buy it.

If it easily does what I need at work, really nothing at home could stop it. From golf carts to backhoes and more, and if not bump up to the next 1/2” max torque. And all this from a mid torque cordless, I’m hooked to the red.
