Pros: 12 amp ho battery lasts a very long time Impressive power, I'd say way more than all my corded models. I'm a tool nut with 30 years of experience. I've had every brand. Rips 2x wet treated lumber like no buddies business. Thumb switch is big Cons: Pretty heavy Battery hits your wrist when cutting. Makes cutting a little awkward. Line of sight between the motor and blade is very poor. Bottom line is this saw has great power with portability. so if you need a saw that can work all day without changing batteries all the time. It does that very well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Totally replaced my corded saw! I am a full-time contractor. So a circular saw is a tool that I use everyday! I was skeptical when I bought this saw. But within the first use I was impressed but not completely sure. But within two or three days if using this saw I am completely in love. I have the 9ah battery as well as a 5 and both from the saw as long as you need to in a day. You can go all day long with this song on One battery. And the awesome thing about it is no cord on the job site! I love Milwaukee M18 totally recommend by this you will not regret it!

Many of us thru the years learned to cut with blade right saws and we've done excellent work with them. Sure the blade left saws are here, but my 2730 as much as i love it, i don't like the dust cropping i end up with so use it for specialty cuts that it does good at. But plowing through boards with this 2732 w the 12.0 on it is just a blast. I made my first cut yesterday and thought no way..........No battery powered saw can cut like this, but it does. Smooth running machine and very easy to control. The weight has also been talked about, and again, it's a power saw not a toy. Fit and finish is excellent.

Completely powerful enough that you could really consider getting rid of your corded circular saw. Paired with the 12 ah battery you get plenty of run time. Milwaukee really did an amazing job with this saw. Well balanced so doesn’t feel heavy or awkward to use with the larger size batteries. Quality made with nice solid shoe and adjustment knobs. A definite need on the job site

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great saw The saw is awesome. It’s actually a lot quieter than I had originally thought it would be which is nice. It cuts like a hot knife through butter through all thicknesses and types of material. I wish the blade was on the left instead of on the right but that’s a very minor complaint. My only other complaint would be that if you are using a framing square as a saw guide and the shoe is all the way down, the motor won’t clear the square. If the motor sat up higher it wouldn’t be an issue. Again this is a minor complaint, you can always raise the blade just enough to clear the square. I will definitely buy another one

This is the first battery powered saw that I've seen that caused me to ditch my old Craftsman 2 1/2 HP corded circular saw for most jobs. Plenty of cutting speed with 1500 RPM. Also the 12.0 amp hour battery has plenty of power and you can make as many cuts as you need to finish most jobs on one charge. I love the work light as soon as you touch the trigger. It also has an easy depth set and a miter set to cut angles. There is an adjustment screw if you need to re-zero the miter to 90 degrees. Also a hanger to hang the saw on rafters or roof trusses while working. Great saw for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cordless power with many features. Milwaukee is a trusted brand that always produces a quality product. This is no exception. Effortlessly cut through hardwood boards, much easier than my corded saw. The M18 battery provides power and can be used in several Milwaukee tools. You can easily adjust the bevel and depth. A built in light helps guide your cuts. An vacuum attachment is included in the package. A rafter hanger helps storage. I placed the M18 and an M12 battery in the charger. Once the M18 was charged, it automatically switched to charging the M12. The only slight negative is the weight. It was closer to 13 lbs, but the battery is over 3 pounds. They've done a good job keeping the core tool lightweight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New go to Great saw with plenty of power. A little on the heavier size with a 6 ah and up but nothing more than an average corded, but I prefer using the 5 with it. My new go to for any quick cutting on the job, whether framing or demo. Only time I see myself pulling out the corded is a full day of rafter, stair, or sheeting cutting which is very rare for me these days. Only complaint I have is the included blade. I know It’s standard operating procedure for every company to throw in a bottom of the barrel blade but in my opinion might as well not put anything in. Would love to see Milwaukee start putting one of their new really nice blades in these kits so you can immediately get to work!

All depends on size of blade (this one is 7-1/4 in.), whether or not it comes with a battery and/or charger, AND the AH rating of the battery (if included). For instance, this model comes with a 12.0AH battery (Milwaukee's most powerful M18 battery).

Yes, if you cut both sides. It will still kick a little at the end of the second cut but not as much as other saws I have used.
