    Overview

    Model # 401G-L Store SKU # 1001032638

The Milwaukee WorkSkin Cold Weather Base Layer is constructed to handle the demands of hard work in cold conditions. Fast Wicking Sweat Zones underneath the arms and across the upper back move moisture away from the body quickly in high-sweat areas to avoid dampness, cold, and freezing. Durable, long-lasting fabric used in other areas provides more insulation while resisting pilling and fighting odour to extend product life. When worn next-to-skin and under outer layers, WorkSkin manages moisture and body temperature to help tradesmen work dry, stay warm, and stay comfortable in the cold.

    1. Fast Wicking Sweat Zones move moisture away from under arms and upper back
    1. Durable body fabric resists pilling and fights odour to extend product life
    1. Drop tail extended back provides extra protection
    1. Seamless shoulders reduce abrasion from straps and harnesses

I bought 4 of these Milwaukee shirts when Home Depot had them on sale recently. 2 short sleeve and 2 long sleeve. On hot days, 80 degrees plus, they really do work well with the whole wicking thing. I never feel sweaty except for along the neck line. The neck seems a little snug and that is the only area that I feel too warm. The long sleeve I have only worn in 40-50 degree weather but they did a good job of keeping me warm. These shirts really are nice! The logo is small but I'm still proud to show off "Milwaukee" because I have quite a few of their cordless power tools. I guess the only slightly negative thing I would add is maybe the sizing is a hair on the small side. Or maybe it's just me gaining in size. Typically I wear size large in tshirts, I bought these as large and they are a bit snug but not nearly so much I would want an XL.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from COMFORTABLE This has got to be one of the most comfortable form fitting polyester shirts I have ever worn. This long sleeve shirt almost feels like it stretches as you move and doesn't restrict your movement and a extra long along the waistline so it will remain tucked in as you work. Shirt also very breathable and designed to draw the sweat away from your body and help maintain body temperature with it's fast wicking technology. Highly recommended. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Runs Large I tested this cold-weather base layer through a series of five mile runs in rainy, often-chilly Portland Oregon. It held up well during these tests, as well as during usage working on my motorcycle and performing household chores. It matches the sweat-wicking capabilities of more performance-oriented brands, and retains its shape and color well through multiple washes. Keep in mind, it runs large. Order a size up! To me, the large feels exactly like all of my x-larges. Other than the sizing, it's a quality product. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A nice cold weather base layer shirt, sized slightly large; check the sizing chart This is a pretty decent shirt and keeps me warm while I'm working outside. I wear it over a t-shirt as it is a little larger than I had anticipated. I usually wear a size large shirt and am comfortable, but this one is a little big. After trying it on and then looking at the sizing chart on the side of the box, I would have ordered a medium instead for a snugger fit. I wear a 42 jacket, and the sizing chart shows 42 on the high side for the the medium and the low end of the large. It's not bad and it fits over a t-shirt, but that sort of defeats the "base layer" aspect of it. The material is nice - all polyester, of course, like most "tech wear" nowadays. It's soft and generally does not stretch out. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
