Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst quality tub I have ever Having previously installed a Mirolin tub 2 years ago and being very happy with the quality, I purchased this tub based on the modern styling we wanted. This new Mirolin Layla tub turned out to be the worst quality tub I have ever seen! As soon as I opened the box the quality looked poor. What should have been flat sides were visually wavy with +/- 1/4" ripples along long sides. Upon looking at the backside of the tub, the fiberglass reinforcement was no thicker than 1/16" in most places (especially sides that were visually wavy). When pushing on the sides of the tub with my finger, I could push my finger 1" inwards and all you would hear is a loud cracking sound of the fiberglass breaking. I supported the tub correctly on the floor, then sat in it and and the back rest just loudly cracked and deformed underneath me. HD was excellent and problem free about the retun.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from NOT an acrylic bathtub I installed this two weeks ago and used white subway tile with black grout. the washing of the grout caused dropping in the tub. and the tub had stains from the black grout. Also the tub had scratches from cleaning the droppings of the grout. Not the floor, the sides walls. Turns out after a lot of research Mirolin bathtubs are made of engineered acrylic. Means that the acrylic is paper thin film stuck on PVC or CPVC. If the bathtub was in the $150 $200 range then you get what you paid for. This is a $450 to $500 bathtub. I also read DO NOT but a strong (stickey) tape on the rim, as it could rip the acrylic off the cpvc it is stuck to. Note:Some contractors put tape on the Rim incase they drop a tile. The Home depot was unaware of the poor quality and as a contractor that deals with them daily, looking forward to see what my complaint will result in
