Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good Value We installed this bathtub and our own tile surround about 6m ago. Over all we are happy with the purchase as we had a very shallow tub before only suitable for children to relax in. It was tricky to install being a tight fit. We had to shave some studs to get the tub to slide down between the two walls. The finish while super shiny at first dulled quite a bit even though we never use abrasive cleaners. I think armourall (for cars) would bring it back but we haven’t tried. also after tile, there is little more than an inch to rest your head on making it less relaxing to soak in. That being said, the price was right and I would buy the same tub again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Thin, cheap, flexible walls, terrible quality. My contractor unboxed the first of these tubs at my house only to find that the drain hole was drilled so far off centre in its recess, that it wouldn’t seal properly when installed, and looked terrible. Should have taken this as an indication to buy another tub. Second tub installed much better, and has a solid-feeling bottom, but the internal side walls are so incredibly thin and flexible, I actually question the safety. You can flex them with one hand, and hear the crackling of the fibre reinforcement on the back. Garbage build quality. Buy another tub.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Paper thin and a pain in the a** After having to return the first tub because the corner was broken (poor packaging no foam) I emailed the manufacturer for more specific shimming instructions and installed per their requirements. Overnight the tub bubbled and is now unusable. Going to try and return it tomorrow although I doubt homedepot would take it back, and I’m not waiting 3+ weeks to get a replacement I have no intentions of using. Going back to steel! If you feel like throwing away $400 this is the tub for you!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy tub to install I am finishing my basement and had the plumbing roughed in so installing wasn't that hard. What I liked about the tub was the height. I have done 4 of these install and I had to chisel away the concrete from the tub drain to the pipe for the last 3. It was messy and difficult. For the Mirolin, I only had to chisel away the concrete around the pipe so I could connect the T connector and then run the pipe directly to the drain of the tub. Leveling was easy as I used wood shims and different levels to get it level. Pre drill the holes when attaching the screws to the wall will prevent any chance of cracking. Drywall screws work well. Instructions are very good. VERY IMPORTANT, make sure to level the tub with shims before attaching to the wall. My 3rd tub was off slightly and the water would run onto the floor next to the tub instead of back into the tub during a shower.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor Quality Control We just purchased this tub only to find one leg is unfinished. All other legs have a cardboard piece attached but one does not. The tub isn't level. The support tech said it may be omitted to make the tub level but a straightedge indicates it isn't. The cut of the leg isn't straight either, making shimming difficult. We also can't access the tub while it is installed so we need to invert it and measure until we make it level. There are also a number of scratches in the plastic covering the tub, which the tech said was there to protect it. These were from the factory as there is no damage to the box. It appears their quality control and handling of the product is not the best. It shouldn't be left to the customer to repair poor workmanship from the factory.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Will Recommend! Got this tub because of its simple design and textured bottom that prevents falls at a really goo price. Was concerned about the poor reviews prior to purchase, but my contractor convinced me that a tub is a tub and when I checked again, was quite happy with its standard size and material of construction. Couldn't be be happier with it. It does not have the bells and whistles of those $700 to $1000+ tubs, e,g, curves for head rest for soaking. But at around $370, it does what is promises and looks clean and tidy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Mirolin Sydney bathtub Purchased about a month ago. This tub is such cheap quality I sincerely regret buying it. It groans when stepped into and it feels like the bottom is going to fall out. Mirolin initially told me this is normal until the tub settles in, has been filled with water for several days and still groans. I don't feel secure enough to use this tub so guess what the new wall tile has to come down to get this piece of junk out. Run don't walk away from Mirolin products.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Misleading specifications Nice tub except that water depth is wrong. This description claims 15 inch soaking depth. Sticker and box claim 14 inch water depth. Actual water depth is 13 inches. Extremely dissatisfied client. I am trying to get my money back. Can't access Mirolin website to complain Edges pretty sharp, very uncomfortable on the back of the head/neck. Mostly very disappointed with water depth. Not as advertised and now have to remove tub surround, dryall, and tub in order to replace with item that is as advertised.

Does the bottom surface of this tub have a bumpy texture, or is it a smooth finish?

Asked by: Lisa99
Yes, the bottom surface of this tub has a slightly bumpy texture.  I had to feel it to really tell.

The bathtub was installed in fall of 2021. It stains very easily and the stains are not removable. Is it possible that my particular bathtub is missing a top coat because it is not shiny at all. Thanks and looking forward to hearing from you.

Asked by: Mel5
We had the same bathtub installed two years ago and are very pleased with it.  It does not stain and is shiny.  Believe your bathtub must not have received final topcoat.

Can you please tell me how big the overflow edge is that goes around the tub? I think it might be called a lip? It usually gets covered by the wall material. I hope this makes sense lol

Asked by: lovemygirl
My tub is installed now and the lip did get covered by tile. It was the standard size I’d say an inch inch and a half tops. It is a very nice tub

Good afternoon, The fiberglass coating alongside some of the curved edges appears to be quite thin, which makes me question the structural integrity of the tub once installed. Is this a production defect? Will this be sufficiently sturdy? Doug

Asked by: Contractor_Doug
Good afternoon Doug, This is a great tub. We find it very sturdy and have had absolutely no problems at all. Your client should be quite happy.

Model SYD530L Would you please confirm if this tub is bright white or off-white. I went to the store and the display model looks a bit yellow, especially compared to the other tubs..
