Rated 1 out of 5 by from Faucet with two motion sensors is a bad design After spending almost 50 K renovating our kitchen, we have decided to buy state of the art kitchen faucet, so I ordered this model and it worked fine for a few months and now it causes too many frustrations because it keeps flashing (the front sensor), most of the time we use the powder room sink & faucet instead, it is too expensive, the two motion sensors make it so sensitive and malfunction so easy, in my opinion, the top motion sensor is good to use, however, the front sensor is causing too many problems, also MOEN phone support id so poor, as I used their support line 1-800-465-6130 and they prompt you to leave a call back number and they will contact you within a WEEK, and guess what I did that, and no one contacted me.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I purchased this motion sensor kitchen faucet 13 year’s ago and was impressed with the operation until within the first 5 years we had problems. As it turned out the control box needed to be replaced. The warranty did cover the replacement of the control box and the faucet was working fine again until just a couple of weeks ago. It started to drip continuously and the then the motion sensor quit working. I contacted the warranty department who gave me a number of possible solutions to try. After exhausting all possible solutions I asked if the control box needed to be replaced! That’s when I was told the warranty covering the electrical components had expired. When you purchase a product such as this you expect it to last.

Hi Chrissy, we are enjoying the touchless faucet. It is a learning curve as you will end up with a wet arm from time to time! lol. There is no alert sound for low batteries, the faucet just stopped working (no manual operation available). The plumber who installed it showed me where the battery pack was located under our sink and it was easy to replace them. The batteries lasted about a year but that would depend on use and battery quality, I imagine. Hope this helps!

Will the handle work manually to start the water while either the wave or ready sensor are on?  Can the water start just been restricted only by sensor?

The Moen Arbor MotionSense Single-Handle Pull Down Touchless Kitchen Faucet in Chrome uses the manual handle to adjust the temperature of the water flowing when activated with one of the sensors. When using the Wave sensor, you must use the sensor to stop the water or the auto-shutoff feature will turn off the water after 2-minutes. You are not able to “disable” the manual handle and only use the sensors on the Moen Arbor MotionSense Single-Handle Pull Down Touchless Kitchen Faucet in Chrome. My handle only goes straight up, not "back" for hot water. Also, on auto, I find hot is not very hot but on manual it is hot. Is this a faucet thing or an installation issue?

As per the temperature issue while using the motion-sense try resetting the faucet by unplugging the power cable then the data cable for a minute, then plug the data cable following the power cable.
