Installed showerhead and the first thing I noticed was the plastic ring has to be held with one hand while the tab to adjust is turned. After reading return instruction I noticed that the item cannot be returned if it has been used. Well how can you determine if product is defective if you don't use it. After talking with spouse we determined that the appearance was most important and that we probably won't adjust stream that much so we ate it this time Home Depot. There was probably a reason that this item was only available "online"

It's functional, reflective beauty is shining as a permanent fixture for at least ten years. You just can't go wrong with Moen. I love the way they stand behind their products!

The old one was spray adjustable and if done correctly, had good pressure with a little more water volume than I can get out of the new one. Still, I like the new one, and may replace another old showerhead with one.

Home rather than route it through my home in anotherState....really.... a dangerous Man eating shower faucet that we need to be protected from?No response necessary, I have had my shower and am back to talking to myself...

There are 3 settings: and Drizzly Broad Rain Setting (the one I use), and a powerful pattern that comes out in a pattern about the diameter of a quarter and another setting that is useless all together. Basically and Very disappointing purchase !!!

Which parts are metal and which are plastic?

Can someone explain which areas/parts are metal and which are plastic? Please use simple terms since I do not know plumbing or faucet nomenclature. It may be easier to explain using the photo of the brass and chrome two tone model, since the different tones add more points of reference. Thank you for your time and help!

It's all metal except for the very center of the shower head where the spray jets are, which is plastic.

How do you change the spray pattern? I couldn't find a video as to what the different patterns look like. I have been spinning it clockwise and I can't tell the difference in the spray.

Although Moen responded to my question , I since found a more suitable response given by a competitor of a similarly designed shower head with a similar lever. I wanted to post this message so others with this issue can benefit. It would have been more helpful if Moen stated that in order for the lever to turn just the ring it's attached to, one may have to hold the top part of the shower head steady when turning the ring. Otherwise, the whole spray section spins around . The problem is that the ring which the lever is attached to is not turning separately. That's why we were not getting different sprays. Plus, in order to try and troubleshoot, I could not see the ring portion from my vantage point of being under the showerhead. I had to stand on the edge of the tub to see it. For those who have a stand alone shower area, they may have to get on a stool in order to see it. I think that Moen ( and its phone customer service reps), could have better clarified the resolution to this problem. Moen should mention it on their installation video and in their written instructions. I read customer comments in different websites saying their showerhead's variable sprays don't work. I am sure it would save on returns and complaints if a potential problem with this operation were clarified by all manufacturers (not just Moen) of a similar product. I am very happy with the look of the showerhead and with the variable sprays now that I got this to work.
