The desk is sturdy and of a useful size. I would purchase this product again, if needed, and would consider other products by this manufacturer based on my experience with this desk.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So beautiful & huge workspace I've ordered the desk on 22 May & I've received it on 24 June. Assembly was not that difficult, but it is time consuming. The desk seems so beautiful in my room - and it is even more beautiful than the images posted by Homedepot :-D The drawers are so spacious, and you can put almost whatever you want in them. Plus, I think the most positive point of this desk is its huge workspace. I've put my wide monitor and my laptop on it, and already I have more than enough space to study!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Monarch Specialties L-Shaped Desk This is my second time buying this desk. I bought it back in 2020 but due to a water leak in my home the insurance company junked it. I think I bought it for $360 back then but I loved the desk so so much I bought it again even though it costs way more now. My focus, organization, and comfort was astounding the first time I had it and is once again! It also looks really nice so for someone like me who keeps their desk in their bedroom it’s great that I can add a few cute decorations to the side piece with the glass on top and make it look nice! The quality of this desk is also really good. Most particle board based furniture items I’ve bought have always been really soft and easily wrecked or damaged but this desk holds up far better than the rest.

The hardware is not the greatest quality and the screws are prone to stripping. There was also a couple holes that were not drilled to the right size, so you really had to wrench on it to get the part in. Two people are needed to put it together.

I had a vase of flowers on the corner on top of a loth coaster and the small amount of condensation damaged the surface!!!. I have had better quality for much less price.

Can the glass top be removed?

Hi Lynn, the glass top is a separate piece that you can place on the top panel. If you choose not to put the glass top, the part where the top panel unites the desk's top panel there will be a small unevenness of .25 inches to be exact which is the thickness of the glass.
