Model # 15521 Store SKU # 1001063005

This 4-step aluminum dock ladder was created to facilitate getting in and out of the water. The angled design requires less effort to climb than does a conventional straight ladder. Its steps measure 5-1/2 inches deep and 17 inches wide, ensuring comfortable and proper footing. The steps themselves have traction grooves for better grip. Sturdy squared handrails are only 1-inch in diameter, making for easy gripping for smaller hands such as those of children. Edges are rounded for comfort and safety. Made from aluminium, these ladders are sturdy, lightweight, and will not rust. A special J-hook system enables easy removal and installation in a matter of seconds great for winter storage, or if you simply want to get the ladder out of the way of approaching boats. Fits on any aluminium or wood dock. Measures approximately 48 inches from surface of the dock to bottom of the ladder. 11 inches space (height) between each step. Up to 250 pounds recommended weight capacity.

  1. Angled design makes climbing and descending easier than a straight ladder. Deep 5-1/2-inch steps provide comfortable footing for bare feet. Steps measure 17 inches wide, providing ample room

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 5* ladder We were extremely pleased with this product. Assembled in minutes and installation was simple and quick. Very good design. So nice having flat stairs, instead of rungs and especially nice having hand rails to climb out of the water. Would highly recommend this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from defective Ladder arrived with dock bracket holes drilled in wrong place. Contacted manufacturer -stated 15-50 ladder sets shipped have this problem. Will have to wait 3 months for new brackets to be made in China, will not have local shop make them because they cost a little more than they are willing to pay - obviously QC and reputation are not important factors

Rated 5 out of 5 by from excellent well constructed ladder I bought the five step version of this last month. It was exactly as advertised and really easy to remove and re attach - takes about 10 seconds. This products which is made in Canada is much better value than the American made competition. In addition their customer support line is excellent.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from welded dock ladder, so assembley required. Bought for my new dock and it's a great value for the money. The steps are screwed on to the sides which are welded. Only took a few minutes. We didn't use the hooking attachment but bolted directly on dock fram.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product, awesome customer service I had already owned one of the exact same ladders for many years and always put it in storage at the end of the season, but unfortunately I left on my dock after the lake had already frozen over and due to the pressure from the ice, the ladder had bent and I needed to get a new one. Completely my fault. I purchased a new and put it together (which was a breeze), but I was missing a specific tool at my country house to attach the j-hooks to the ladder so i put it aside for a few months, and by doing so I accidentally misplaced the j-hooks and hardware to attach the ladder to the existing footman loops on the dock. I reached out to Multinautic to see if they could send me some new j-hooks, and they responded immediately and are sending me some new some new j-hooks and hardware. After years of use at our country house I can attest to the quality of this ladder, and to the quality of their customer service. And the fact that I'm supporting a local company as well makes it even better. If you're looking for a dock ladder I strongly recommend their line of aluminum ladders.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Needs better attaching hardware I liked the ladder but not the attaching hardware. The thin screws would not have lasted. I took it into a local welding shop and the tig welded all the joints. Now it should last.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great dock ladder I bought this ladder for use on the side of our dock. Works great. If I had to do it over again, I’d have chosen the 5 step version instead. Overall, great quality ladder.

I am interested in purchasing Mutinautic angled dock ladder, but not sure if I should get the 4 or 5 step? My dock depth is about 10” and water surface ranges from 2- 6 “ from bottom of dock . The water depth is approx 20’.

Asked by: GAPort
I like the 4 step ladder and with 20 ft below, it sounds like you have lots of room. With the ladder being on an angle is very easy to climb up. Friends have a straight ladder at their dock which was hard to get up with. After the used ours, they sold their ladder and purchased the same as ours. It is easy to remove in the winter also.. We really like it and at the time. It was the best prices around at the Home Depot. Hope this helps.

Does this dock ladder have any weight restrictions??

Asked by: swimmer
I bought this ladder a year ago. It's worked well. I don't know what the weight restrictions are, however, it supports my weight at approx 220 lbs.

How does this ladder attach onto the dock?

Asked by: chico
Hi, as you can see on the second picture, 2 loops (footman loops) are screwed onto the decking. The addition of a reinforcement plank under the dock is recommended. On the ladder handrails, there are some "J" hooks that will grab the footman loops just by inclining the ladder. I'll ask to have more pictures and the Instruction guide added to this Product information page. Please have a look at ladder #15013. It has the same kind of attachment. How well does this stand up to waves. We are on a river and the ladder will be exposed to some whitecaps. Will the wave action bang the ladder around or is it designed for calm water? How high from dock edge to bottom of ladder?

Asked by: ontdude
Hi, this ladder is equipped with the "J" hook system for a quick release installation. It's not guaranteed that big stormy waves will not disconnect it (although I never heard that occurred). If what you want is the angle feature, you might want to secure it with screws in the decking by drilling the bases of the top handrails. About the length of the ladder, from dock edge to the bottom there is around 46 inches. Hope this helps you make the best choice for your needs.
