This 5-step aluminum dock ladder was created to facilitate getting in and out of the water. The angled design requires less effort to climb than does a conventional straight ladder. Its steps measure 5-1/2 inches deep and 17 inches wide, ensuring comfortable and proper footing. The steps themselves have traction grooves for better grip. Sturdy squared handrails are only 1-inch in diameter, making for easy gripping for smaller hands such as those of children. Edges are rounded for comfort and safety. Made from aluminium, these ladders are sturdy, lightweight, and will not rust. A special J-hook system enables easy removal and installation in a matter of seconds great for winter storage, or if you simply want to get the ladder out of the way of approaching boats. Fits on any aluminium or wood dock. Measures approximately 58 inches from surface of the dock to bottom of the ladder. 11 inches space (height) between each step. Up to 250 pounds recommended weight capacity.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good dock ladder Nice looking. Easy to disconnect for the winter. Angles away from the dock a bit so easier to use. Won’t rust out like the old galvanized one I had. Reasonable price. Takes a while to assemble. Looks a bit flimsy but no problem with my 220 lbs or my grandchildren playing with it or the constant rough water. I would get one again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Ladder I like the angled design which makes its easier to climb however it adds stress to the welds. Two of the welds broke after one month of moderate use. I returned it and purchase the Dock Edge ladder which looked similar online but actually appears to be more robust. We’ll how that holds up.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from satisfactory We are happy with the ladder for our swimming pond. It is sufficiently sturdy & the steps are wide, so more comfortable than the ones with skinny steps.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good ladder but the frame can bend. Easy to assemble and install. Worked perfectly for my own use (I weigh about 190 lbs) but I had a couple of guests who weighed about 250 and after they had used it a few times I noticed that the horizontal sections of the frame that are anchored to the dock were bent at the point where they extend out past the edge of the dock. The ladder is still functional but it is now closer to vertical than the designed angle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Angle makes for easy ascent I bought this angled ladder to replace a straight ladder on our dock. It was easy to assemble and installation was a breeze. This ladder makes it so much easier to climb out of the water. The angle makes it just like walking up regular stairs.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor built. Poorly built. Tiny little screws hold it together. Very flimsy. Also unit came with out 3 steps and hardware so had to order that again. The parts were covered so that was good.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Super mais à plié un peu Tout va avec l’échelle, elle est super mais le métal à plier avec le poids des gens qui monte. J’ai une crainte de bris mais tout va pour le moment.

What is the distance from the dock level to the bottom of the ladder

Asked by: john
Just up to the cabin to measure and it’s just under 5’. The steps are 10” apart. It’s a good buy but if you have heavy swimmers be prepared to have the joints rewelded I did but I would still recommend it.

I have the five stair angled ladder which we love, however the brackets should have been made of stainless steel.  Ours bent, I need two new brackets.  Any idea where I can get them?
