Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for Some Uses but not for Others I bought these this week because of the ease of installation. They are indeed easy to install but no one will confuse them for actual pavers. Once installed they look good, but when you walk on them they feel like plastic and have a lot of give to them (don't feel sturdy). This is fine for where I am using them, which is to cover an elevated area where grass doesn't grow, but the picture in the product listing showing a full sized patio with a seating area is not realistic. Basically they will be great for the right applications but will be disappointing in others.

First I dug up the area, removed all the small pebbles and made it as even as possible with a slight slant for rain to run off. Then I began to lay the 'stones.' It's not easy getting them at the exact same level, and any missed pebbles or anything can get in the way. When laying in a block formation, you're walking and kneeling on the next row, so when you get to it you have to try to level it again. Anyway, they're okay and look fairly nice with my brick edging. My patio is not perfect, but it'll do for now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Going on ten years. Excellent 9 years ago I purchased these for a outdoor furniture pad. About 8 by 12 feet. They have been excellent. The neighbors always thought they were real stone from a distance. There was been minimal fading. I lifted them 2 years ago to put weed mesh under them as the weeds always seem to poke through the seems. So far no weeds. The only downfall is they get extremely hot in the sun. Careful with pets and kids. I now use the pad as a thermo heater for my pool pad. Great sturdy product if used properly. Buying more today.

When I bought these I was expecting flexible thick rubber mats what I got was a hard molded tile that was mostly plastic and hardly any rubber. There are no any photos to show that the back is hollow and it's not solid and ontop of it all they were warped, not even flat. Do not buy these they are garbage.

Can I use them for a bottom of stair at my front entrance? Will they handle the track?

Yes you would be able to do this but they really would not take any heavy traffic. I utilized the majority of them to create a patio like area and placed pots of flowers around the edge but they will not be walked on except when I am watering the plants. Great effect. I have also utilized them on my front patio to put planters on them, looks really good. They are quite light weight more of an accent that a heavy duty paving stone.
