The Nature's Generator generates free electricity via the solar panel(s). The system consists of a battery pack that stores electrical energy, state-of-the-art electronics that convert 12-Volt to normal, everyday household electricity. With the included solar panel(s), the natures generator is a complete solar electric production and storage unit. This generator proved to be the ultimate lifesaver. As the unexpected Arctic storms zipped through and left many without power, my family was able to manage these difficult times thanks to Nature's Generator. As others struggled without power and lack of fuel for their generators, we were able to power our entire home and other important devices. The vast runtime and quiet engine is a huge perk. I was pleasantly surprised at how much recycled energy this machine uses. This is definitely a must have for all people. Hands down, Nature's Generators are the best. I highly recommend them.

My problem is with two features that limit its worth to me. During cold weather the batteries must be kept from freezing and that becomes a protection from freezing problem. This was not known information until after purchase. Two is the tiny size of the wheels. They are totally unsuitable for any but the smoothest surface travel. There goes most camping sites for use after "quiet hours", which was the primary intended use. Would I recommend this for home emergencies? Yes Would I recommend this for camping and campground uses? NO!

A lot of places here have no electricity and it is too expensive for them to get it installed as the power company only pays for a portion of the expense. I have a very good friend here who has a nice little house that has only water and gas but no electricity. I did some research to find an alternate way to provide electricity to the house and found this product, the Genex solar generator. I had it shipped to me here in Puerto Vallarta and it arrived very rapidly and I have now installed it in my friend's home. She cannot believe it possible that she now has lights..can run a fan, other small appliances and even a small refrigerator. She thinks she is dreaming ! This is undoubtedly an exceptional solution to electricity needs in remote locations. So far it has performed as advertised and I highly recommend it. Steve

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great solar product, worth it My set up contains three panels, a pod and the main generator for a small mobile food business. Ran a small freezer and two small fridges continuously from room temp to fully cooled for 6.5hrs just on the main pod before having to charge it. Took 13+hrs to recharge main pod with AC hook up to house. Expecting longer life power with added power pod. Works great while simultaneously charging with solar and using appliances. Only hang up would be charging at night as AC charge only provides 90watts per hour and appliances draw 80-288watts while running at any given time. Each solar panel provides 100watt per hour charge each. The only Con: I’m constantly monitoring the pods through the smart key app...the app requires you to find the Bluetooth smart key EVERY time. It would be nice if the app and smart key automatically sync up. Minor detail. Overall, I’m happy with this purchase and expect to purchase the wind turbine to have full charging capabilities.

Generator can not run a small compact dorm fridge (16x16inch, estimate). The life of this battery drains quicker than it can charge. Takes all day to charge in the sun (95-110 degrees, Temecula, California). Don't even know if it's worth it to even try to invest in 2 generator to see a difference.

The draw back for me was with the Lead Acid Battery. This type of battery is the cheapest type of deep cell battery on the market today, and the most costly to recycle. One would think in this day and age with all the new technology in car batteries there would be a upgrade to the smaller deep cell batteries for solar generators. So if I didn't need this generator full time, this would have been a great unit to purchase.

Hello: The unit does not need to be outdoors to charge and store. The optimal way to charge is for the solar panel to be in direct sunlight, and being outdoors will give you the most continuous overhead sun exposure. The preferred storage method of the Nature's Generator is indoors. So the ideal use would be to use the solar panel outside and the generator inside. - Nature's Generator

Can i use a 600watts continiusly refrigerator during the natural generator while charging with the solar panel?

Hello Goldy- I wanted to provide an update on my answer. With refrigerators now a days, they are very efficient in the amount of power it uses and how it uses it. Our Nature's Generator can provide power to the 600 watt refrigerator anywhere from 6 to 12 hrs. Depending on how frequently the doors are opened will determine what spectrum of the 6 to 12 hours our generator will be able to provide power. Yes. I will run a deep freezer for around 9hrs with about 20% battery left. So a little longer. Deep freezers use less energy than your coffee maker. This is an 1800Wattt device. The elite system is a 3600watt device. Both series are stackable within the same series. Meaning longer life attaching more "pods'

The elite unit I have appears to be designed to limit solar power input to 300 watts, so once you reach 300 watts you are not recommended to add anymore solar panels. I don't believe you need an MPPT controller, but you're limited to 300 watts.
