Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not buy!!! This pizza oven looks nice and is built nice but the rotating stone idea sucks. My stone never gets hot enough to cook the dough. By the time the dough is cooked everything else is charcoal on top. There are gaps in the stone to allow for the rotation mechanism and a hole in the bottom of the housing. This sucks in air and cools off the stone so your dough will always be doughy. We have to cook the dough plain before putting toppings on they put the pizza back in to finish it. Buy something else.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from dangerous i bought this pizza oven on fathers day. i tried to use it 3 times and everytime i tried it caught the pizza on fire and the rotation knob would not work at all. that is why im sure the unit caught on fire cause the rotation did not work. taking it back today to get a refund

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great pizza oven We’ve just finished the fourth batch of pizzas. Same issues but getting better each time. I took the stones out to see if I could improve the rotation of the wheel. The issue seems to be the mechanism from the knob to the centre of the oven. The stone turns fine when pushed with a small peel or bbq fork. We’ve been able to get a more uniform cook this last time although the wind blew out the flame on the second pizza and I didn’t realize until a little later in the process. We haven’t tried the smoker but will try that next time. Satisfied so far but it does take some getting used to.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great addition to my outdoor kitchen [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was ecstatic to see this pizza oven, I wanted to expand my outdoor kitchen, the oven is high quality, and comes with a pizza stone, set up is easy, the oven comes with a pizza stone, it does use a propane tank as the main fuel source and there is also a smoker box if you like to use chips, this unit is so versatile, the directions were easy to follow. I tested it out with fabulous results and can’t wait to spend the summer making pizzas

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic pizza oven [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm reviewing a nexgrill ORA 12 propane gas cast aluminum pizza oven black. This pizza oven came packed beautifully was fully assembled other than putting the ceramic pizza stones into the oven. It took me a few tries to get it to light the 1st time on my 2nd time using it I just turned know part way waited about 1 second before causing the spark and it lit. I let the oven heat up for about 20 minutes. My 1st pizza didn't come out that good my fault I didn't have a pizza peel or pizza pan that fit in the oven I had to use a pie pan. My 2nd try worked fine and tasted great I sprinkled the little cornmeal on the pizza peel so dough would slide off I cooked the dough for about a minute then took it back out and put the sauce and topping on and put it back in for 3 to 4 minutes rotatingpizza a couple times easy with a knob next to gas control. Pizza came out fine and tasted great. Working dough will take time to get it right but I'm looking forward to using this pizza oven more and more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No need for a turning peel [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nexgrill Ora 12 inch Propane Pizza Oven gets the job done. The oven was easy to set up just unpack unfold the legs install the pizza stones and it’s ready to cook. The first thing I found was that my standard peel was way to big, there are proper sized peels at HD. The oven was easily hooked up and I had it heating in no time. It took the oven under 4 minutes to heat to 475 degrees on top of the rotating pizza stone. I put my thawed store-bought cheese pizza on at 500 which I thought was fine for the stone but I needed to turn the heat way down but I didn’t so I got a pizza cooked on top and not on the bottom, my fault. It will take some practice to get it right, in the mean time I need to get a smaller peel which will make the whole experience more pleasurable. The Nexgrill Pizza Oven heats up fast and cooks evenly with the ability to turn the heating surface, pretty novel. The oven also comes with a smoker chamber to add the full wood fired flavor to your food. The oven has a heavy duty aluminum shell that heats fast and holds heat.

It reads that it will take a 12" pizza, hence, a bit wider than that. The area of a 12" pizza is about 113.1 square inches, the unit is 123 square inches.
