Flexible and lightweight, the Nite Ize BrimLit LED Hat Light is a convenient, hands-free light that clips easily and securely onto nearly any hat, cap, or visor brim. Formed from high-density EVA foam, the BrimLit slides underneath your hat's brim and easily accommodates its shape. Its two spring-tension clips automatically adjust to the brim's thickness, and a quick press of the button activates the BrimLit's four LEDs - choose high mode for more directed light or low mode for glow. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good For Me, Would Be Excellent For Younger Eyes I've used Nite Ize products for many years; they make good stuff, and this BrimLit is no exception. Easy to attach and use. This thing is thin enough that I don't find it distracting and lightweight enough that my hat doesn't slip down. The LEDs provide surprisingly good illumination over a fairly wide area in both low and high outputs. But, I discovered that the big drawback for me is that the fixed LEDs can't be vertically re-aimed; you must look directly at your work. When (ahem) "mature" eyes get aligned at the correct bifocal location for close-up work, my hat brim usually points somewhere toward the ceiling instead of my hands. So, I still carry a portable light to most jobs. Even so, I've found that the BrimLit is great for general area, hands-free illumination. Less mature eyes could take full advantage of its capabilities.

Went ahead and purchased it/ Found the focus more than made up for the low lumens. Concentrated to where you needed the light. Guess it wads good enough because within a week someone stole it. Went back for another and got the last one to have it stolen also.
