Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for fall reseeding the seeds took very quickly ( even in mid october) and have helped cover up some bare patches on my lawn. its hard to mix it in with other seeds as these seeds are about 1/5th the size of a regular grass seed, so they just sink right to the bottom of a feeder and get flung out first.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO NOT BUY. 5% clover 95% weeds I bought this in the hopes of cover cropping my garden with clover but it quickly turned into a nightmare. Every section that I seeded with this came up as quack grass/ crab grass plus some other weed that looks similar to purslane. When the seeds first started sprouting, I thought it was odd that it resembled grass so much, but I figured I'd wait it out. I wish I didn't because now I have a whole yard that's absolutely covered in weeds, and I've been spending hours trying to tackle it and pull it all out. What an absolute nightmare. Home Depot should absolutely pull this product from the shelves. In my photos you can see what it looks like once its fully grown in, and the second one is a section that I seeded a couple of weeks later which is just starting to sprout.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good quality What I really liked about this seed was it was NOT coated. Way more product in a bag. The quality seems there as it started growing in the tough areas I had assigned it to. I've used this for overseeding and my lawn is incredibly lush this year. The only downside is the clover grows faster than the grass meaning more mowing to keep the lawn looking trim. Very impressed with how this product worked over other coated brands.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from white glover works very well white clover works very well to replace conventional grass lawns. Grubs do not eat clover. Clover germinates quickly and is a nitrogen fixing plant. No need to fertilize.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Grows where the grass won’t Small bag but a little goes a long way. I’m happy to see the clover filling in the areas where the dog peed and the grass was refusing to grow. Took 10-14 days before I started to see growth but it’s doing quite well now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Grew where grass wouldn’t. Bright Green! I bought cover seed this year to plant in a section of my yard that grass will just not survive. Maybe too much shade? Anyways. I keep the ground damp as if started growing and it came out so nicely and easily. It’s finally green! I didn’t use anything fancy. Just hand tilled up the dirt a bit and hand sprinkled tons of seed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from White Clover Though I’m not a pro regarding clovers, these seem wonderful to grow and look great.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not clover seeds I bough this at the end of winter, and started seeding my grass in order to transfer it into eco friendly lawn. We had much rain and the seeds grow fast, but they were mixed with other plant not clover. I Was very disappointed

Do you have to rip up your grass or do you just simply scatter it around

Asked by: Chelsea
Just simply scatter it around.
Answered by: Jeff

Do i have to just scatter the seed or do i have to prepare my backyard?

Asked by: Mrs SAM
Depends on what your goal is, if you throw it on existing grassy patches you might not get the result you want with few seeds germinating. I would recommend adding a nice layer of dirt on the area you want to plant then water frequently until you have a good base, these will then spread and mix in your already existing grass making a thicker lawn

When is best time to seed with this? Late fall before snow or early spring? Winnipeg Manitoba Canada. Any tips?

Asked by: Cbax
Basically fall or spring are both good times to seed. I will prioritize spring seeding with the sun availability, but other prefer the fall with the rain abondance.

What variant is this clover? Is it pipolina or pirouette?

Asked by: Kate
I've used the Nuway white clover for a number of years. This is a standard white clover lots of flowers and regular size leaves. Pipolina and pirouette are micro clovers, smaller leaves, less flowers and slower growth rates.

What is the seed purity for this clover?

Asked by: TCee
Not sure about the purity, but I haven't seen any weeds growing in that area. The clover seeds germinated quickly and have been doing well for the last two years.

After years of planting grass seed or laying sod due to my female dog doing her business, leaving yellow patches everywhere - I'm thinking Clover might be the remedy. In relation to this issue, would Clover be the change worth making?

Asked by: Ronle
Here is a description of the clover. Once well established the clover is very good for foot traffic. White clover is a low-growing, hardy clover species and is the most common type found in lawns. White clover makes a great ground cover because it grows quickly and spreads fast. The best temperature for white clover is between 50 degrees and 85 degrees Fahrenheit. White clover tolerates cold, but it’s a little sensitive to heat. This type of clover is used by many vineyards and orchards. The florets range in color from white to pink. White clover mixes well with fescues, Kentucky bluegrass, and perennial ryegrass. Common varieties include micro clover and dutch clover. Classification: Cool-season Duration: Perennial Spreads by: Stolons Hardiness zones: 6a-9b Sun: Full sun to light shade Soil: Tolerant of most types of soil, sensitive to salinity, prefers moist soil Drought tolerance: High Maintenance needs: Low Potential for disease: Medium Lifespan: 3-5 years
