The instructions for mounting and such were none existent but the instructions were good for software setup with ivideon. The camera's video quality is great even at night. The only down side is that you must purchase an upgraded recording plan if you want to see more than a 10 second video clip. One thing I don't like is that it doesn't record everything. It recognized repeated activity and so won't record you doing such things as driving your car into the garage, or you outside doing yard work. I wish it would record all motion. Who's to say that it won't record an intruder at the door, mistaking it to be me?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very nice camera for security. It is full HD (1080) so the detail is great. I have it on my porch, and can see everything very clearly. Having a security mound means spending more time getting it mounted (I pulled the wires into the house so they don't show at all outside), but once I was done it really looks clean.Pay attention to the orientation, as the camera mount doesn't have full 360 movement. I had to mount the base, then adjust it for the view I wanted, and then finally install the cover. The app motion detect settings are all too sensitive - I had to turn them off so as to not get moths at night or slight wind gusts constantly setting them off.

The cameras are of very good quality, but I did have difficulty getting one running as there was a registration problem. The email support team was very helpful in getting it working. I will say that the little instruction book leaves much to be desired, but the support team was very prompt in replying to my questions and providing solutions. More information about the ivideon app where you view your recording would also have been helpful, but the support team there was also very quick to respond to questions and provide help.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of the best features of this camera is how easy it is to setup the lan. You simply connect it to your router and add it. It uses an sd card and does not require a dvd. It is powered with the included power supply. It can be placed on a surface or mounted inside or outside using included hardware. The mounting screws are under the dome which makes it harder for someone to remove it.. The image is hi def and very clear. I like the motion detection which advises me of any activity with a message and an e mail with a video.

Wanted to add a security camera to my home to monitor driveway and front door deliveries. Reviewed many different cameras and decided to purchased this Oco Pro Dome. I have not been disappointed. My camera location had easy access to power, so not having to replace batteries was a plus. Installation was very easy, however setup and instructions could be a little more explanatory. The Oco support team makes up for this one flaw. They walk you through every aspect of getting your camera up and running, they even show you how to tweek the settings to your situation. Believe or not, they even call you back when you call and they are unable to answer. I’m very happy with my purchase for value and quality. By the way, HD is selling this camera for $56, $30 less than I paid.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hooked up this cam temporarily to the composite video input on my 720p plasma TV. I've seen a lot of surveillance cameras, but NONE that compare to the quality of this picture. Image is next best thing to HD, day OR night. Have it under the eave, where it won't be pointing directly at the sun, and has at least some protection from the weather. I was hoping it would be at least 90° viewing angle but it is less, probably about 10° less. Image quality more than made up for that. Plan to hook this cam up to a DVR with 3 more just like it.amd its new feature digital WDR is gives wide dynamic range of batter veiw ans also night vision is very clear.

With Oco Dome Camera I got this solution for my store, its the cheapest i could have got that is worth the money invested on. The features were amazing. I loved the person counting feature that enabled me to know how many are there in my store at a certain time. Its totally weather proof and is equipped with infrared night vision that has got my eyes on my store even at night dark times. i highly recommend Detla Camera to stores, offices and even for domestic security purposes.

I have had this now for nearly 2 years and can say its a great product, crystal clear quality, powered over ethernet - I have used the direct ethernet connection rather than the wireless so in the photo you wont see the antenna- I like it because it captures a wide range and is subtle ie not in your face camera and also has a mic which is good. The SD card records all events, I use it via my mobile phone (somtimes pc), you can download and save clips or longer events, its been freezing and very hot and it has survived all temps, the night light is good- its a cheap effective alternative to dvr etc, but if is well worth calling tech support to fine tune it according to your needs.

Yes and no: You can rotate the camera mount and adjust it up and down to get the view you want, but once the cover is installed it is fixed in the position you left. There is no powered movement at all

It does perfectly during the day but at night the IR sensors will turn on when recording which causes light reflection off of the window and so your video clip with just be a bright light. It also gets warm so it is recommended that you mount it outside.
