Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor packaging I have no beef with the sheet itself, but it comes with a protective layer of film on only one side. I assumed all the scratches and nicks I saw were on the film but once I peeled it off many of them were on the non-film protected side of the acrylic sheet, so the film just hides defects in the product. Also, the large product sticker is not on the film but on the acrylic itself, and the adhesive is so strong that I think it will take me an hour to get it all off. I don't dare use something like Goof-off for fear of wrecking the acrylic..

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cracks way too easily. Don't waste your money Not suitable for drilling or scoring and snapping. Drilled pilot holes in it for screws, cracked. Scored it almost all the way through the entire length of the cut and when I snapped it off with a straight edge it broke in a curve. Use it as a full sheet, do not try to cut it or drill it.

This is basically a plastic sheet, if a sturdy one. It would depend on how much heat the light puts out and how close it would be to the acrylic.&nbsp;
