Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good tubing for plant watering Great irrigation tubing for the flower pots and baskets. Quite rigid.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too porous soaker tubing! Though it is supposed to be porous it is so much so that you lose water pressure after only a couple of feet. Useless for anything other than very small applications.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Useless didn't work at all - got clogged with the first watering.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too porous Bought this for raised planter beds. Connected to adjustable distribution manifold off of reduced pressure line (25psi). It's too porous and all the water comes out in the first 1-2 feet. Tried various flow rates, multiple pieces/sections, and 2 separate rolls with no improvement.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from High Flow Rate - But Works I measured a 1 foot section and the flow rates were just insane. This is with a 30psi reducer installed. The challenge with this is now I can't combine this zone with anything else. I found it producing 7 Gallons per hour per foot. I will need to retest to validate since this seemed insane!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic product I just installed a drip irrigation system into my vegetable garden. I created zones for an area that uses drip irrigation and another for the porous soaker hose. I LOVE the soaker hose in the veggie garden. I tested my water pressure (an important step) and actually had to use a pressure reducer. The ¼ inch drip line has to be less that 20 feet in length, but when used in conjunction with a ½ inch feeder pipe, this is a great system. When used as it was designed this is an amazing product and I highly recommend it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from waste of money.... No power after 20ft. Should have known better buying 1/4' diameter hose ,especially a soaker hose for that matter, is too small a diameter to get any consistent water pressure. Stay away and save your money.

How far apart are the emitters for water?

Asked by: Karen
This Porous Soaker Tubing is the type that does not have emitters. It's basically like recycled rubber and emits along the entire length as long as you plug the end of course. Although it's 50' long it's not recommended to use the entire 50' for a single run as you won't get sufficient water near the end. Runs of 15' to 20' or less work best.
