Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to manage and install I bought this last month to use in my garden to help minimize patio stone shifting.(a trick they experimented with in northern Ontario Canada to reduce pavement heave). It was easy to use and simple to cut. And, it wasn't messy.

I would like to insulate the inside of my attached (double) garage - about a foot all around the door (both sides and across the top). Can I leave this insulation exposed? If not, is there any type of rigid insulation that does not need to be covered?

    Asked by: Eyeliv2ryde
Hi Eyeliv2ryde, FOAMULAR C-200 is usually required to be covered by a thermal barrier, however in some applications in detached garages it can be left exposed. Please check your local codes for requirements specific to your area. Thanks for your inquiry!

Would anyone recommend using this product, instead of a piece of wood in my window, when installing my window air conditioner? Will this be strong enough? Thank you for your time and help.

    Asked by: MikeyMike
It depends, will the foam board be under pressure? As it is just foam it will not be able to hold an air conditioning in your window. But if your air conditioner is like mine and is screwed in to the frame then you are just looking for something to fill the gap this would work with tucktape around the edge to keep it in place. Just make sure it’s not in contact with the A/C exhaust as it can melt with a lot of heat.

Can I lay this directly on the concrete in my basement, then lay either plywood or OSB on top and then luxury vinyl on top of the plywood/OSB? If so, does the OSB/plywood need to be a certain thickness? Do I fasten to the concrete or leave it floating?

    Asked by: shaner82
Hello shaner82, this application of Foamular C-200 is fine. We do recommend using a minimum of 3/4 in. plywood over the layer of Foamular, but here is no need to fasten the C-200 to the cement. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact a representative at 1-800-GET-PINK. Thank you for your inquiry!
