Can these be added after the panels are installed

Labouriously, but yes.  Will require you to unscrew each corrugation where you want to install one, insert the strip, and then refasten.

What screw should I use to attach this closure to the wood? Am I to screw the corrugated PVC panels through these strips and into the wood?

Use 1" flat head wood screws to attach the horizontal closure strips to the wooden purlins. If attaching to pressure treated lumber, ensure the screws are Pressure Treated friendly.

Hi I was wondering if this will hold up well in the Canadian winters with lots of snow falls and possible weigh load of the snow

Yes, Suntuf holds up in Canadian winters. Load support of 40 lbs per sq ft @ 24” cross support bracing and 50 lbs per square ft with 16” cross support bracing when installed following installation instructions. Please remember to always follow proper local building codes and engineering standards.
