Before I could install it, I need to buy a remodel fan box at Home Depot (Internet# 205383177). This is really important because the fan motor is heavy at over 5 lbs! The instructions are clear and the parts are easy to determine. The blades were packed extremely well and are a beautiful warm white. Everything you need to install this fan is included, yes even batteries. If you are looking for a sleek modern fan that can be used indoor or out, this is a great choice.

The Home Depot ad is misleading, it states that this is metal and wood and that the blades are reversible. This is incorrect. It's made of metal and plastic (fan blades are plastic). They are also not reversible.

Replacement parts were sent by the company and those didn’t work either. Bought the same fan from Lowe’s and same problem. Parrot Uncle refused to take the fan back because it had been over 30 days since purchase even though it took them 3 weeks to send the replacement part.

I will say I had an electrician install them and he did complain that it took him a long time to put up, which is the only reason I took off a star. Glad I did not personally have to mess with the installation.

How do I buy an adapter for a 33 degree slope ceiling?
