how many support legs are required for this dock 24 ft. including the two front ones, for the dock to be free standing

Our Patriot dock system requires supports every 16ft of dock frame. Our standard dock packages do not have supports at the lake end, as every customers shoreline is unique. Most of our customers rest their shore end of the dock on grass, concrete pad, or rip rap wall. Others will elect to purchase a shore ramp. The 24ft Straight Roll-In Dock comes with (2) sets off supports. The first set is (2) 4ft pipe with foot plates positioned after the first 8ft frame assembly. Our recommended support span is 16ft, so we skip the next two dock frames and your second set of supports is (2) 6ft pipe with your wheel and axle assembly at your very lake end of the dock or 24ft. To make the dock entirely free standing, you can add a set off supports at your shore line.

Hello, can the wheel section of the Patriot Docks|Model # 10525|Store SKU # 1000784769 be relocated to the mid of the dock instead of at the end of the dock?

Thank you for your inquiry. We designed the Patriot Docks Roll-In Dock to be supported by wheels at the lake end of the dock for ease of install and removal. The dock will include (2) sets of supports, as Patriot Docks require supports every 16ft of dock frame. The first set of supports will be after the first 8ft frame. The first support point will include a set of foot plates. We will span 16ft of dock frame, where the wheel assembly will support the lake end of the dock. Customers have decided to swap the foot plates for an axle/wheel assembly to make the entire run of dock rolling. Patriot Docks are completely modular allowing for further customization. when I select the gray aluminum decking the roll in dock product says teh assembled width is 65" but the poly decking for the dock says the assembled width is 48" Is the aluminum gray decking product a different width? What is the correct width.

How much does this dock weight only poly panels are removed?

Thank you for your message. Our goal when designing this dock system, was to be the lightest and most modular in the market. Our 6061 aluminum dock frames only weigh 45 lbs without the decking weight. In regards to your specific question, the Patriot Docks 24ft Straight Dock with the poly decking removed would weigh 220 lbs. The poly decking would add another 192 lbs. Is it possible to get pipes longer than 72" for deeper water? Or pipes that can be attached to the 72" ones with a sleeve of some sort?

Thank you for your message. The longest pipe Patriot Docks can ship is 8ft. If longer pipe is required for your waterfront, we use a standard schedule 40 galvanized pipe with a 1-1/2" i.d measurement. Very common pipe that can be sourced at just about any local home improvement store.
