Patriot modular aluminum marine docks provide the ultimate in shoreline enjoyment. Our 12-in. deep aluminum truss frames are expertly crafted with welded and bolted connections. We use 7/16 in. diameter aluminum chord rods, not 3/8 in. like most of our competitors. Pipe is all 1 1/2 schedule 40 electro-galvanized steel, not lighter weight steel tubing. Our pipe brackets are extra long with two - not one - stainless steel set bolts. Patriot Docks have a limited Lifetime Warranty on aluminum frame and poly and aluminum decking.

Can two dock sections be added to this unit as well as a ramp? Do you need another set of wheels and axle? Can you send me the extra part numbers for this addition to the dock?

Our modular dock frames are 4 ft wide x 8 ft long and weigh only 45 lbs. Patriot Dock frames are constructed of lightweight marine-grade aluminum.

Can the larger portion of the dock be reversed?

Thank you for your interest in Patriot Docks. Yes, our dock system is completely modular, allowing for the patio section to be orientated on either side of the main run of dock. We manufacture both a 4x4 ft and 4x8 ft shore ramp that mounts to the shore end of the dock via a pair of hinge plates. The hinge plates provide a level of travel to allow the shore ramp to accommodate a decline or incline to the dock.

I dont believe this is 350 lbs assembled. What does it really weigh?

Patriot Docks 40 ft Patio Roll-In Dock with Cedar Decking weighs 915 lbs with decking. We encourage the dock to be installed and removed at the end of the open water season without the decking weight, to reduce stress on dock and make servicing more manageable. Weight of the dock without the drop-in 4x4 ft cedar deck panels weighs in at 470 lbs.

what extra parts do i need to turn this 40 ft dock whith 8x8 front into a32 ft dock with a 12x8 front and can i adjust the front wheeles to make it level in uneven grounds and should i need extra leg supports

To convert a 40' Patio Rolling dock to a 32' Double Patio Rolling Dock would require an additional End Rail (PN10803) and a 12' long axle pipe (1-1/2" i.d. sch. 40, purchased locally). The minimum number of supports between the two configurations stays the same and are included with the dock package.

Can I add another section at the start to make it 60-80’ of dock?

Yes, our Patriot dock packages can be combined to achieve just about any length and configuration. The dock frames must be supported every 16' at a minimum. Please contact us directly if you have any further questions, we're always happy to help!

How is the decking secured to the frame?

Thank you for your message. Patriot Docks was designed to have the decking nest in our dock frames and be removed ahead of removal to reduce the weight and overall load of the dock. This feature also allows out customers to store their decking investment out of winter weather during the offseason. A good solution to consider is an industrial zip tie. The tie should sleeve through the deck boards capturing the 1x1 aluminum angle stringer, than around the top angle of the 8ft side truss rail. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
