Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Successful Non-Standard Use Not exactly as pictured but they did the job. I did not use these screws in a standard application with metal or plastic corrugated roofing/siding. In this case, I needed to fasten down a woven poly tarp over a wooden deck roof. The rubber washers keep the water from seeping through the roof material and also help cushion the tarp against wind gusts (softer than the metal screw head). This solution worked much better then battens screwed/nailed down and the screw heads are almost invisible (white screws on a white tarp). It's also a cost effective solution, so two thumbs up!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good screws for polycarbonate I had to install new walls on my carport and I decided to use top-end transparent corrugated polycarbonate sheets (expensive stuff but good). So as to put them to the framing of the walls of my carport, I drilled holes into the sheets and then used these screws to attach them. The good thing about these screws is the rubber protector. It prevents any undue pressure on the sheets. The screws even look good - that's an extra. Recommended

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Argh -- not self-tapping These are all Home Depot has online for roofing screws, and their design (self-sealing) implies that they're ideal for metal roofing. One little problem though -- they're not self-tapping (like any metal screw should be!). This meant that in order to not delay my shed's metal roof, I had to drill holes in my roof sheeting for each screw. That was a lot of extra work.

Are these fine for palruf pvc panels?

It all depends on the aging of the palruf pvc….If its new, you should be able to use it but if its an old palruf it might not be so forgiving so then you might have to pre -drill before using this screw.
