Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible screws - head snaps right off I don't know if I got a bad batch, or if these screws are just not built well. One out of every five screws I put through 5/8 drywall snapped right off. It's incredibly frustrating. At slow speed you can actually see the screw twist and snap. A few of the snapped in the middle, as soon as they came in contact with wood.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't buy !!! 1 in 3 break, heads pop off, or the screw twists in the middle. Wasting a lot of time using plyers to remove the part sticking out of the drywall without a head. Also, have to fill way more holes with mud. Terrible product. 1 star is 1 more than this product deserves!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not screwed Not very impressed with this product, you would think a simple box of screws would be hard to complain about but when aprox 150 out of 500 screws have pieces of machining still in the phillips drive point making them unusable. Lack of quality control

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good Out of 8,000 screws, only 8 defective, funny, 2 didn't have any threads and one wasn't the right type of screw. Only broke one screw

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Work great, but I received many tiny metal shards into my pointer finger. Tiny metal slivers were not enjoyable. Wear gloves, which is a nuisance or find a way to clean them prior to picking up with bare hands. Never had this issue before, quality has slipped

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not the best quality. Most, but not all, of the screws had heads that were not centered on the screw shaft. This caused the screws to wobble when starting them and then the driver tended to walk out of the Philips head as you seated the screw.

Picture says 8000, description says 5000 drywall screws per pack...

So which is it? Judging by the regular price, I would guess 8000 is correct but can someone confirm this and either update the picture or the description to avoid confusion? PS. This is regarding 6x1 1/4 Coarse Thread Drywall Screws Model:: 214-106 | Store SKU #: 1000105722
