Paulin Roofing Electro Galvanized Nails are large flat thin head nails with a short body. They are used for attaching asphalt, fibreglass shingles or sheet metal to wood. Shanks are smooth or ringed for increased pull-out strength. When installing roofing nails be sure to flush to the shingles. Avoid countersinking roofing nails as this can cause shingles to tear. Thin coating of Electro Galvanized zinc prevents rusting and withstands occaisonal moisture; however, it is less robust than Hot Galvanized and should not be exposed to weather if used correctly. Not suitable for exterior applications.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great nails for a good price These nails are honestly great. I bought the 1.5 inch ones. They cut through 3/4 OSB subfloor like butter, they are super easy to drive and seem to hold really well.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not the sharpest nails in the tub The nails were an online order and arrived by the date forecast. About a quarter of the nails were very blunted. I was disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nailed it! These nails are tremendous at receiving a blow from a hammer. When you hit them they actually sink into the wood - wow.

The title reads "1-1/4-inch Roofing Nails Hot Galvanized - 350lbs". I must be super man cause I can lift it with one hand easy. What does the 350 lbs reference mean?

Asked by: El Cheapo
Hello, it should read 30 pounds , not 350 lbs. 30 is the weight of the pail .
