Rated 1 out of 5 by from Weaker than a wet noodle I didn't understand why these had a poor review, how hard could it be to make a nail? Now I know why. At least half of these bend on the first couple hits. I've got a room full of Paulin 3.5 inch galvanized nails bent at a 90 degree angle. And once they bend, it takes the strength of 1000 men to pull the thing out of the wood. If you see these, run as far as you can.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Buy lots These nails seem to be made of inferior materials about 40 to 50 percent of them bent while driving them in....I will be looking for alternatives going forward

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Plastic nails Poor quality nails . Metal is extremely soft. Not good quality. Ive been swinging a hammer for years and these nails are the softest I have ever seen

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality As soon as i used the first nail, I knew something was not right. The nail collapsed after a straight hit with a 16 oz hammer. On a closer look, many of them are already bent. The steel is too soft. When trying to pull them out of the wood, it is difficult, which is good. The claws strip off the galvanized coating. I needed to finish a job so I had to continue to use them, otherwise I would have returned them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Useless Absolute junk! A few swats and they bend trying to penetrate dry spruce WITH A DRILLED PILOT HOLE. Don’t waste your time & $.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Mainstay construction nail, but a bit soft If I need a construction nail, then this is usually my go-to, mostly from convenience since I am buying other supplies at Home Depot. The hot dip is usually pretty even, with rarely any flakes or chunks. The nails are a bit too soft though, and will deform easily with strong knots or glancing blows. I've still got a thousand left, but I will use them before looking for a nail with better hardness.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from advise against buying any size of these nails These nails are useless, make sure you buy twice as many as you need. They bend far too easily. I had to drill pilot holes so I could hammer them into pressure treated 2x4's. Wasted at least half the nails of 2 different sizes.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from They do the job...but As the other person stated , bit soft, just go easy on them, hit em like a snowflake, not too hard or they'll get all bent out of shape :) I too will seek a harder nail for future builds.
