Colour-coated 16.5 gauge Panel Nails are for attaching all types of panelling to wooden frame members. Ringed shank for holding power and small finishing heads are usually sunken into the surface allowing for a flush finish. Install the wood panels by driving the nails with a hammer into the wood stud at the top and bottom of the panel board where chair rails or trim baseboards can cover the heads of the nail. Nails can be used in the center of boards where joints need attaching. Choose Panel Nails closest to the colour of the panel board especially where multiple boards are requried to cover up an entire wall.
