Wood joiners are used for fastening wood joints in both finished and rough carpentry. The sharp sides along the length of the fastener keep it hidden in the connected pieces, while offering exceptional holding power. The corrugated design fits snugly into wood. Common applications include wood furniture and picture frames. These fasteners work well in hard and soft wood. Use a standard hammer for installation.
Connector Cross Dowels are used with Connector Bolts for making strong right angle joints in most manmade and natural woods. Cross Dowels are made of steel and are available in various diameters and lengths. Cross Dowels are manufactured with a slot or combination drive to enable orienting the dowel to the Connector Bolt in its blind hole.
Threaded inserts provide permanent machine screw threads in wood, plastic, soft metal or other porous materials. Threaded inserts are often used to replace worn wood screw or metal screw holes that have become oversized due to wear. Installed with a machine screw, bolt, hex key or screwdriver for those types available with a slotted head. Use flanged type inserts to prevent pull-through. Threaded Inserts prevent wood splitting and the need to use large screws in wood only applications.
