Hex Nuts are used for fastening to a hex head cap screw or bolt when mechanically joining materials together. Grade 2 is regular strength for everyday use. Made from low carbon steel. Steel is zinc plated for moderate protection against rust. Use grade 2 hex nuts with grade 2 hex head cap screws or hex bolts.
