Rated 4 out of 5 by from Too deep on hollow door... self drilling drywall.. I misused these for a 3/32" or less hollow oak bathroom door. Didn't work. 1/8" is simply too large a thickness, they do not squeeze down to secure a hook for a dressing gown for example. Almost, but not quite. Break the ends off self drilling drywall anchors and those worked well. Not a perfect flush mount of the hook, but quite acceptable considering the function, and definitely rock solid.
