Rated 1 out of 5 by from Overpriced. 80% mark up on Rebar, I went to a local building supplier and got 6x 10 foot long pieces for $66.00 with tax. some places also have the fiberglass ones which are rated the same strength ( an home inspector approved of my rebar work with it for a footing and I believe they are even cheaper.

I bought a 20 ft length of this exact stuff from a local concrete supplier for $6.95. So almost $34 for 20 feet at Home depot or $7 from a concrete supplier.

How many bars in each package?

These are sold individually in 10 feet lengths. I have used my angle grinder to cut these to length. I've also used my Dremel Rotary Tool with a thick cutting disc to cut a notch in the rebar and use leverage to break the rebar (the same way you break a paper clip into 2 pieces). For what it's worth I'd suggest you purchase the epoxy coated rebar. These are green. This provides an oxygen free environment for the rebar to prevent rust.
