I ordered this panel online shop I didn't know quite what to expect, however upon receiving it I was very impressed with the quality! Despite the delicate design, the plastic is thick and sturdy providing some rigidity to the piece even without the supports. At the moment I am using it as a decorative cover for a shelving unit inside the house (both to act as a privacy screen and keep my cats out of the shelf) but it would also make a lovely addition to my patio! I am also thinking of getting one or two to use as a decorative cover to hide my firewood pile. This panel would work well indoors or outdoors

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Most versatile panel I've ever seen. Was much sturdier than I had expected from a resin panel. At .25in thick, the panels are solid, yet light and flexible. There are so many uses for these attractive panels that interior wall art was my wife's first choice while mine was skirting around the sundeck. Finally decided on exterior use where they nicely covered some unsightly areas of our yard as the pics show. Use them for a decorative gate panel, or add hinges to provide easy access to the hidden areas. Some paint will extend their usefulness and make the potential uses endless.

I used this to create a privacy panel on my outdoor shower at the cottage, and the black finish of the panel created a stylish look. It is durable and will not fade (mine has been installed for two seasons). Just needs a slot to sit in, and will look far more modern than the old cross-hatch wood fence topper.

If I need to add more it wouldn't be hard. The instructions gave good advice on how to install Is this product. Since I wasn't sure I wanted a big assembly , I used two metal stakes hammered in at the correct measurement. Then held the screen up against it and used plastic ties to secure the screen to the posts..

I bought them for the practicality, because they can stand up to all weathers. But they are actually quite beautiful and have created a nice effect. I now feel like I am at a European bistro on my balcony!

We used these and they are stunning. We split them lengthwise and used them on the top. We cut one into a smaller square and used it as a portal in the door under the patio. Gorgeous!

I would like to use a few of these as a small garden fence (setting them horizontally), with no construction required. How should I stake them to the ground and keep them standing sturdy? Any ideas?

We installed the resin ones along our deck railing. Without that support, they definitely would break. We subsequently purchased metal ones with the same pattern and although they are more expensive, they are so much sturdier and easier to work with. Definitely wouldn't buy resin ones again. Plus the aluminum ones can easily be cleaned, repainted and recycled.

Can these be left outside all year long - live in south eastern Ontario Canada

We live in central Ontario and have these installed in our board fence, they were there all winter and they are fine.  We were careful not to pile the snow against them and there are no children playing on them.

My aluminum post come with the cap inserted already , do I remove the cap myself and insert the frame to the post? Will I damage the cap or post by knocking off it from the post?

For the 3x6 panels can they be installed horizontal? Do we have to buy 76" posts when we only need 36"? Is the frame necessary? Thanks

Yes, there are holes on the side of the panels.  We truly enjoy these. We bought two last summer and they match our black aluminum railings.  We purchased the black frames to go on each side of the panels, to solidify them a bit, but not necessary.  As there is about one-inch space on each side between the panel and the railing, we could not screw them in so, we simply attached one ‘black standard plastic tie, on each side of the decorative panel, to the railing, which we will cut in the fall before removing the panels.  Not necessary to remove the panels but we want to prolong the life of these, with our harsh winters.  They weigh very little and are easy to dispose of.

Can these be used as a deck railing? Approximately 7-8 ft above ground.
