Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice product, may be galvanized then welded though Nice stuff, really heavy. Looks though like it might be galvanized then welded, so long term may rust where the wires cross.

Would this be using in creating a barrier to stop skunks from digging under fence?

Asked by: Meg1234
I think you might want a smaller mesh. Regular chicken wire buried a foot should do the trick. It’s about 1.5” mesh.

I want to make a couple of 18ft arbors to hold squash and zucchini plants. Is this a strong enough gauge to bend over a 4 ft garden walkway?

Asked by: jwwrma
Hi there, thank you for your question. As long as you have a solid frame to support the fencing this should work nicely for your intended application. Thank you!

Will this fence contain the rabbits? Thank you

Asked by: Marie
Hi Marie, thank you for your question. This galvanized utility fence should work great for keeping rabbits in, provided they can't slip through the 2" x 4" openings. There are other rolls available with smaller hole sizing. Our customer service team would be happy to help you find just the right fence for your project. You can reach them toll free at 877-883-7325 or via email at cservice@peakproducts.com. Thank you Marie. We'll look forward to hearing from you!

Is this fencing's lifespan when submerged in water? Is the galvanization process hot dipped or electroplated? What is the thickness of zinc? I intend to use the product as a waterfront retaining wall.

Asked by: Mason K
Hi Mason K, thanks for your message. We haven't tested this product in this capacity so we can't offer any information in terms of how it would perform. Thank you,

Is it good enough to use as in a deck railing like the hog fence railing that are popping up all over the place? I can't seem to find any hog fence with the 4x4 openings.

Asked by: Marc
I don't think it would be sturdy enough for this application. Also a deck railing is supposed to be constructed in such a way as it is non climbable. ie kids climb cup and over. If you have no concerns over building codes or safety then sure but take the time to secure the wire at every opportunity, top and bottom and sides. every four inches, i used this just for a chicken coop and it is sturdy enough to keep predators out. I have not seen the deck railings you are talking about but this fence will deform easily and start to look rough quicker than a heavier wire would.
