Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product! Difficult installation. Great product! We bought the larger pegs for all sections and I can tell you that fence is sturdy! The installation was far more difficult than anticipated though. We would recommend you buy at least a12" long x 3/4" hollow metal pipe to fit over the stake posts before hammering them into the ground, it made it a little easier and prevented damage to the peg. Only after the job was done did someone recommend we use an electric post driver or pile driver, I'm not sure what he called it, but he said you can rent them at home depot. It would have been helpful had this information been on the instructions from the manufacturer as tools to make the job easier.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My experience There is one issue that make it challenging and it is the post that holds the fence section. It has to engage with the part that you suppose to insert into the ground by using a heavy hammer. You can not hammer on the centre metal shaft as you will deform it and you will not be able to engage the post on it, so you have to use a wood as the instruction say but then you have to make sure it goes absolutely straight and vertical level from all sides and this is challenging. I hammered it on the side wings and it worked. Other than that it is a very good product and very fast to instal.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent Fencing That Looks Good Looks great, we also got the gate. Wasn’t quite as easy to install as my husband thought and he is a custom home builder. He said it took longer than he anticipated. Also he learned that if you use a piece of wood to then hammer them into the ground, that the area flattens the top of the hollow home where the pope needs to go in which means it becomes narrowed and he needed to drill the hole back to it’s original opening size (hope that makes sense). Which was a bit annoying and took extra time. It’s a bit expensive once you buy all the parts and size needed, so I took another star off for price and a star off for the efficiency and quality of materials. Some of the black coating comes off when installing which sucks. Overall it looks good and works for what we needed which was to keep our small dogs in our front yard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Niagara fence and gates I love this fence! Easy to install in an afternoon by myself and I’m a senior! Looks beautiful. I highly recommend! One trick is to take a piece of 4 x 4 a foot long and drill a hole half way up in the centre. Place this over the ground spike and it hammers in the ground easy then.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dig Free Fence Bought this fencing last week, installed quickly. After installing a couple of posts, one massive life hack I discovered, and would HIGHLY recommend is buying one extra post, and utilize that as a sacrificial post to hammer in the stakes in. Will help greatly with keeping the stake plumb while hammering, and not allow the wood that they recommend in the install videos to dig into the top of the stake while hammering. All in all, good, fast product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works for small dogs. Nice but not as easy as I thought. I had to deal with uneven ground and sidewalks. I drilled a half inch hole in the sidewalk and inserted some rebar for the gate post. That works.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good material, Toddler tested. Looks good, easy to install. Material thickness and weld quality is superior to similar product we looked at earlier. Even took a solid effort to extract the post pin from a ground stake for installing it into concrete. Supporting ground stakes are good, thicker material than expected for supporting the fence. Toddler pushed as hard as he could and the fence held solidly firm, Gates can even have a small lock attached to the latch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect fence Love this fence looks great and easy to install. I have two little dogs and they can’t fit through the fence because it has tight pegs at the bottom! Would definitely buy again

If one end of the yard is a bit lower than the rest can this fence still be installed? ( Victoria no dig fencing.)

Asked by: Diane
Yes. Just do a step down. The one section will be slightly lower than the section next to it

I want to put this on the slope of a hill so toddlers can play in the yard without rolling down the hill onto rocks. The hill is newly landscaped with garden soil. Will it hold the spikes for the fence?

Asked by: Teddy
Hi Teddy, thanks for your question. This fence is decorative and therefore is not a load rated safety guard. We wouldn't recommend using it for protection in this case. Please give us a call if we've misunderstood your intended use. Thanks Teddy!

Hi.  Can you put 2 gates together to have the option of a wider opening if necessary?  If yes, what are your suggestions to make it work? Thank you.

Asked by: Lori
Hi Lori, thank you for your question. You would still need to install a post in the center of the opening so the gates have an anchor point on both ends. Thank you.

Hello Syed, thank you for your question. The dig-free fence should be installed on soft ground only and it is made to withstand all year round Canadian climate.

Hi, Do In need to contact the city before I start the installation for no digging panel?

Asked by: Sudad
Hello, Dig-Free fencing are ideal for adding an entryway to any fence enclosure used around property lines, gardens and for pet containment. These are not considered permanent fixtures, however check with your local/city for city guidelines as it could varry depending on each location. Thank you.

When measuring my yard, should I use the Assembled Length or Panel Length to determine how many fence panels will be needed? Thanks!

Asked by: YYCLori
I used the panel length because I believe it includes the holes for the poles and they overlap.

Hello, are these fences strong enough to prevent an average adult from falling through it if leaned on. Looking to install around at cottage for easy removal. Thanks John

Asked by: John
I would not rely on it for fall safety for adults.  It is more for aesthetics and to keep children on pets in or out of an area.
