Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well Engineered, Easy DIY I bought this from HD to replace a wood railing on my 18 y.o. cedar deck. Replaced about 50 feet of railing using these railings, 42 and 66 tempered glass, and pickets. Also used the Gate - really liked that. Still have to do the stair railings. Love the results. Tips: get an angle grinder to cut thru railing. Well worth the time. If you use the glass WATCH FOR THE LOGO - in the box the glass has different orientations - so my logo is not in the same place on each panel when I installed. Annoying, but fixable. Use 4x4 blocks to back your posts - really adds to the stability. I'm very pleased.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Saskatchewan Winds We installed the Railblazer railing system with both some glass inserts and some pickets this past summer. Our deck is 7 feet off the ground and the product has withstood 2 of the worst wind storms we have seen in years (strong enough to remove our hottub lid & blow down our fence). Installed properly (we had a contractor do it) we would highly recomend this product

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Railing ends not cut square We bought four of the eight foot railings since we needed to splice the railings together for a longer run of stairs. The ends of the railings are not square when measured with a square. When attempting to use the splice insert there is a gap at the joint. If you are going to splice these you will need to cut the railing ends square first. This seems a needless step for a machined product which should be square to start with. I would not have bought them if I had know they were not accurately constructed. We used them but had to shorten the railing a little to cut the ends square.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Customer service I required extra parts for a Railing that was installed at my home by a previous owner, I contacted customer service and LIZ at Peak Products went out of her way to assist me and provided required parts no questions asked. I would highly recommend this product and company

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Quality - I installed this railing with a friend on a 10' x 15' deck and with the plan provided by Peak Products (the manufacturer) we were able to get most of it installed in one day. The best thing for me was that the friendly and personal installation service that Peak Products provided. I spoke to Kelly there and, after sending him a couple of pictures and a drawing of my deck, he sent back an accurate plan and a list of materials and parts that I would need. I went to Home Depot and bought everything I needed. The parts are very well labelled and easy to find. I believe there are cheaper railing systems to be found, but the service provided by Peak Products made all the difference in the world. I even called Kelly a couple of times during installation with some questions which he ably answered. All in all, this was an enjoyable experience.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Stair Railing Difficult to install Pursuant to my positive review (May 28, 2015) of this railing product from Peak Products, I would like to amend it and downgrade it somewhat. The railings themselves as mentioned in that review were quite easy to install on a flat deck, however when it came to installing the railings for the stairs, I found the instructions, both the online installation video and the paper instructions included to be quite deficient. It was a frustrating and difficult challenge and I don't think it's possible to do it alone. I ended up cutting a bottom railing too short and now have to buy another complete 6' package. Peak Products does offer good customer service as mentioned previously, but they really need to improve the instructions on installing their stair ralings. Also, the look isn't quite right with a combination of pickets and glass panels. Ideally the stair railings would have looked nicer with matching glass panels although I can understand that the manufacturer cannot pre-cut the glass for every application. All in all, it looks good though. (see picture)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's Complicated ... We are do-it-yourselfer's as much as possible. We purchased this product to go on our little front entrance deck. 6' x 12' with 3 steps up. We've had some terrible weather during the entire month of September 2018 (snow and rain) and October doesn't look any better. We wanted this job done before winter, so we opt'd to assemble as much as we could in the garage. We had quite a difficult time -- as soon as we had a panel all locked into place, it was impossible for 1 person to carry it out -- everything fell apart and we had to start again. If it wasn't for that problem -- it would've been a cinch to assemble. The stair section was particularly complicated. we pulled it apart probably 5 times to get it angles adjusted properly because as soon as you scissor it, the spaces became too tight and threw everything out of alignment -- but we finally got it !! It probably have been better if we could have assembled it out there, but the weather was just too miserable. (as you can see in the photo - October 1, 2018 and there's snow on the roof -- it's doubtful that the staining on the bottom part of the deck will get done till next spring .... ) Despite taking 1 1/2 days to get it together, it does look good. It was pretty expensive, so hope it holds up. $1100 to do that little deck.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Railblazers Glass Railing for Deck The 'White Hand and Base Rail' is part of a larger package of materials. I ordered the railings, posts, extra 2 x 4's (for reinforcing) and other materials online and it was ready within hours. There were only 2 small parts that were the incorrect parts (which they switched out with no hassles really easily). I had to custom order the glass. I was told 3 weeks and after less than one week everything came in! The railing package was very easy to install (especially if you take the time to read the instructions ... I made a bit of extra work for myself by going the, "I know what I am doing!" route). My wife and I did the installation ourselves and it looks GREAT! (at least that's what everyone who's seen it says - and I didn't even have to bribe them).

Hello, is this the same part as 90111 - 163974 - 6 2921990111 5

Asked by: SamF
Is what the same part? You're question is missing something. The part you have given identification for is the 6 foot hand and base rail for glass panels. Good luck. I recommend going to a store or calling them. Also if you go to the Peak Railblazer website they have some tools and product lists to help.
