Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent cold weather performance for air hose. This hose replaces another brand where the spring broke. I liked the low temperature flexibility of the hose but disliked the brass air chuck that was attached. From experience these are finger pinchers so I changed it out for a different style. There is only one arm to support the hose feeding off the reel so there is some movement every time you pull the hose down. The ratchet mechanism works OK but not as fast acting as I would like. Bottom line...for the price it does the job I need it for and time will tell how long it lasts.

What are the fittings on the side of the reel?

They are the same size as the standard hose fittings. The size is 1/4” NPT

does it come with the hose that connects with the compressor if not what size would i need and would i need any other accorories

There is a short "leader hose" that connects to another air line from the compressor. So the air hose you are using now, connects to this.
