Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best. I have owned this type of feeder for the past 15 years (yes, that's how long they last at least) and have moved houses 3 times. Every time we move, I hang the feeder and the birds find it within 2 days. I like that squirrels cannot damage it or access it. Multiple birds can feed at the same time and it's easy to clean with a bottle brush when you need to every spring. I own 3 and would not consider any others.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Finches don't like it. I got tired of never seeing any birds in it. I moved it around a few times. Birds would use the birdbath every day all day but not touch the feeder. I resorted to dumping the seeds out into a saucer... And then had pandemonium until it was empty from the wrens and sparrows but finches would hang out in the nearby lilac but not touch the food. On the positive side, the squirrels didn't have any luck with it either.

Never has a single bird ever landed on this or even been remotely interested, even when filled with favourite seeds... they will use nearby feeders, but refuse to even consider this one. CONCLUSION: this is actually made from BIRD REPELLANT.
