Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great but.... Valve is great and installs easily. I'd give it 5 stars except for the fact that you need to buy it separately from the faucet kit! Imagine your surprise when you open a faucet kit box and theres no valve and because of COVID you have to wait another 8 days to get the valve so you can finish your install

Can the temperature be adjusted?

Shower is too cold. How do you adjust the valve to make the temperature hotter.
Asked by: Anonymous
A few things .... First, you can simply turn up the heat on your hot water heater .... keep in mind this will increase your monthly gas bill to do so (to keep the tank at a hotter temp). You can also adjust the temperature limit stop ..... (shut the water off), remover the handle (allan key) .... you will see a black plastic disc, you can pull it out and put it back adjusted so the water can go hotter good luck

We bought a saxton trim kit by phister. It mentions this product is designed for 0X8 series valve only. I see there are two options on the website. Does anyone know which 0X8 valve is the correct choice and why.

Pfister model # 0X8-310A is the standard shower rough-in valve. Pfister model # 0X8-340A is the same shower rough-in valve except for this model comes with angle stops to allow the water to be shut off for shower maintenance. Please contact or visit your local Home Depot special order counter for pricing and availability.
