This is Replaceable after the Tub spout starts to leak in say 4 years. The BLACK gasket has the FLAT side of it facing your eyes (visible). You will thank me later on this.. because nobody seems to mention that (vital part of the installation process or the diverter will leak).

Is the BLACK rubber diverter stopper inside Replaceable: YES IT IS! Which way does it go: THE FLAT PART OF THAT GASKET IS VISIBLE TO YOUR EYE. IF YOU HAVE IT THE OTHER WAY, IT WILL LEAK. TRUST ME. No one else has that information posted. When the unit arrives, it is often in pieces and you have to put it together (no instructions).

Pfister model # 015-250K should be an assembled product in the box, but if the diverter assembly comes out, it would need to be put back together. That is correct, the flat surface of the gasket is visible to your eye when it is re-inserted.
