If ever I had an issue with leaks, corrosion, or finish, Pfister customer service center was friendly, courteous, and prompt to resolve an issue and expedite a replacement part for free. That's right, I didn't have to find a specialty plumbing store to look for a rare expensive part. The Marielle tub and shower has a very unique style and a rare rustic bronze finish that many company just don't carry. I know the integrity of a solid company will back it's product, so reliability is no issue. I would choose no other brand in faucets. Great product!!

The valve stem finally started to have issues with the hot and cold water mix. When I contacted their product support, very friendly, and advised me the part was covered ! They sent me the replacement part no cost, no question asked. Customer for life !

I contacted Pfister and spoke to Jeff who is sending a replacement faucet. That's great service! I didn't even realize that my purchase had a lifetime warranty!

Can this product be used with the tub faucet only, no shower?

Yes. Pfister Model # R89-8MBU Marielle can be installed as a tub only by plugging the shower port on the valve. A single handle Pfister valve such as; #0X8-310A would be needed for this trim to work.

What Rough-in Valve is required to go with this product?

Pfister model number R897MBC does not have a valve included, only includes the trim kit. There are three Pfister valves that are compatible with this trim: 0x8310a: Pressure balanced, can only control the temperature. No integral stops. 0x8340a: Pressure balanced, can only control the temperature. With integral stops. Please see your Home Depot special order counter to order the valve of your choice.

what does valve not included mean (Tub and shower set )

This model is a trim only and does not interchange with other manufacturers&rsquo; valves. A single handle Pfister valve such as; #0X8-310A would be needed for this trim to work. For pricing and availability please see your local Home Depot special order counter.

What is the difference between the Model # 0X8-310A or Model #: 0X8-340A valves

Pfister model 0X8-310A does not have stops which means that the water cannot be shut off at the valve. Model # 0X8-340A has stops which means that you are able to shut the water at the valve once the trim is removed.
